First Grow In Over 20 Years! Northern Lights Under 600W LED

Looks spectacular to me. I see meds on them thar plants, so that's spectacular in my books! Beefing up nicely too!

Thanks, buddy. "Praise from Caesar is praise indeed". :cheesygrinsmiley: :thumb: :headbanger:

I haven't had much to put here lately so I started a new journal if anyone wants to check it out. I will keep this one going till I harvest this crop in a few weeks then close it out.

Here is my new one: Homer's legal 4-plant max perpetual minimalist garden in Ontario.

I want to add my new journal to my signature but I can't figure out how to edit it??? D'oh!!

My budding plants have been flowering for 8 weeks today. I plan on giving them at least 2 more weeks depending on how my trichomes look. On my first harvest, I took staggered harvests from about 9 to 12 weeks and honestly didn't notice any difference in effect from samples from the different stages of ripeness so I am not going to be so concerned this time. I read CBD strains should not be harvested that late anyway.

Here is the garden in all its glory. I really don't like my light and how about 50% of the light from it falls on about one square foot in the middle. It even burns the middle leaves a bit at 18" but I am going to leave it there because the rest doesn't get enough light. I am really tempted to rip it apart and redesign it so the cover is more even.

The light has bleached the leaves directly under it and a few inches away doesn't get enough light, ugh...

Some decent buds.

Looks pretty good overall.

Thanks, that is exactly what I was thinking Pennywise. Not exactly stellar sized buds but good enough for my needs and overall pretty healthy. I would like down the road to fix my uneven illumination issue but it isn’t urgent but what I am really happy about is that I haven’t adjusted pH since I think before they went into the bud room so I think Shed’s expert was right about alkalinity mattering a lot more than pH. Also, it’s just nice not having to do that step.

I'm not hung up on ph like some, as long as I'm in the range it's good.

Maybe I am just inherently lazy but that is my point with this journal; to try and eliminate whatever processes I can that don’t really do much like pH.
