In Dug's defense: On this forum, there's no real "beginner's area" that's adhered to. And because of the way 420 is structured the usual way on pot forums of dealing with incorrect info (telling people they're fucking wrong then telling them to GTFO of the thread) is, er, discouraged. (Meaning: "If you're not nice we'll shitcan your account.") Which, speaking only for myself, I can say that being nice isn't always easy. I can't stand noobs stating something they read somewhere as "fact" when it's dead wrong. And even worse, arguing it. Go read the pot subs on Reddit-this behavior is the rule, not the exception. So, bad info posted is frequently allowed to stand, which makes it even harder for people to sort out what's correct/incorrect. Which sucks, but it's unavoidable as pot gains even more mainstream traction. That gets old, Dug, I totally get it. And beginners spreading misinformation absolutely pisses of those of us who do know our business. I've learned to ignore the majority of the misinformation I see posted. Correcting it would be a 24/7 job, and I'm not going to argue with noobs because I simply have no f*cks left to give in that regard.
Dugan is right: Distilled water IS about 7.0 ph. And city tap water isn't suddenly without fluoride & other nasty shit after 24 hours. RO first, then distilled, would be my choices, if I didn't have 70ppm, beyond bottled quality, pure spring water on tap.

Larry, normally i give new members a very warm welcome , not the one you received. As JD mentioned , i'm passionate about this hobby of ours and want us all to succeed while having fun doing it. That stuff you guys were sayin on here just got me worked up , is all. I am NOT rude Larry,...have a great night :)

Duggan, doc bud replied to me email about the high Brix. I currently have about 3/4 or less bale of promix. I'm going to use up that with the rest of the nutes I currently have and then try to transition to high Brix kits..... That's the plan amyway

Yup, sounds like a good plan, that way when ya start with the kit you will have a new bale of PM. When ya get a chance , if you haven't already read the instructions Doc has written . it's really easy to use and grow this way but it will help you get a better feel for it when you have to get started. This present grow you got ,...it's gonna be , what,...two months? Remember to allow for a good 30 days to cook the soil OK. Seedlings can be started in straight PM if ya like for the first couple weeks , pre-moistened with a weak Transplant mix.

Well, she's the youngest out of 6. The oldest is the only boy and he's a man, 23. The rest are all girls ranging from 22 to my youngest that will be 14 the end of July. 6 babies. 5 baby mamas. My first 2 have the same mom the rest all have different mom's.....
