Thanks for the complement and the good tip!
As I understand, plants use light on the surface of their leafs, quantified numerically in lumens. With both LED and CFLs the lumens are exponentially lost as the distance from the light increases. I love CFL's mainly because:
-No heat production (barley noticeable, no need for A/C)
-Can keep each light 2 inches from plant, to maximize the plants uptake of lumens.
