First Grow- Autoflowers CFL (nooby)

Thanks everyone.
New and old for advice. hope you guys and girl stick around to see me through.

Todays agenda involves getting a timer with 3 prong adapter.
Im trying to find a worthwhile way to go to 12/12 or 14/10.
My timer is a 2 prong and the tent is 3....looking around for ideas.
Dont want to do it manually.

i didnt trim it on purpose. I broke a branch to unrepairable lengths....so i cut it off and smoked it.
It was bad tasting. Great smelling.
I was pretty buzzed. Suprised.
( it was morn though)

For less than a dollar they make a 2 to 3 prong adaptor. Go to your local Lows or H. Depot and you can grab one no problem.

BTW regarding the light cycle, since you are doing autoflowers you should go no less than 18/6, since anything less is going to stretch out your finishing time without any real gain to potency or taste IMHO.
 
Hey LJ, one more thing about getting light to your lower bud sites...

Putting some black and white poly sheeting (sometimes referred to as "panda film", I think) on top of your soil might help. I cut pieces of it from the scraps I had from lining my grow space walls. You can see it in the pics I posted in my previous reply. If you don't have access to the B&W, maybe someone else can suggest an alternate lining material.

If I didn't say this before, your plants are really pretty. :)

Thanks man. Im going to look for that 2moro.
And will do on the 18/6 because its not the first or second time ive heard that.

Thanks GG. I love mah lil girls.
CJ is about as annoying as a chihuahua attacking your ankles though.
I even put it in the closet for a few days and nothing at all...
eh....oh well.
Not much longer now.:tokin::Hookah:

CJ is thriving. Still no sex.
Its been burned badly by a lighting error....and a nute error.
Today is the day i figured out that I cannot work with my plants while buzzed. I thought it wouldnt matter so i didnt mention it. I mistakenly gave CJ an extra dose of nutes because my short term memory wouldnt operate and let me remember if i had already done it. LOL
Paying for it now. Lights readjusted and nutes too.

TnT is doing great. Thats who had the broken branch. It was tiny though. No big deal. Budding nicely. Bottom leaves are showing weird spots and starting to yellow.
This means its taking the N for budding , correct?


Deez is still shooting out pistils. No budding yet. Worried about it. Its doing the best out of all of them and now i might have to do pruning when it starts budding. Is insanely bushy. It has branches, coming off of branches, coming off of branches. Insane. Really.
Its not showing any ill affects of the higher nute dose like CJ did. Took it in stride.
 
LIl Jah, :wood: just found this thread...I'm new to the auto flower thing. I like that you used MG cause I'm using it too (mixed it with some cheap o' potting soil etc.) It looks like you got away with it, I hear people use it and have great success. Norcaliwood's wife used MG and she has a TREE of a plant.

Anyhow.. good luck and keep the faith!

Hello all.
This is the "dreaded update".
I knew I wouldnt walk through this grow without a hitch. I was awful close to being done with no issues at all. but now i have one.

So now i ask my journal reader for help.
The issue is with every one of my plants. Which left me at one guess.
Nute burn.
Massive mean looking nute burn. If anyone think its any different let me know. I did up the dose a little.
I flushed em all today to try to fix it even a little. Any more tips would be nice.
Take a look.
CJ's burn. I thought it was from the closet at first but its steadily gotten worse.

Hope for the best ppl. Sheit hey at least it isnt mites. Those things annihilate plants with extreme prejudice. Glad that my journal has come along so greatly. Glad of the new buddies i have due to my new obsession.

You did the right thing giving the girls a good flush. That is almost text book nute burn. good thing you caught it early.

I'll keep positive thoughts for your ladies.
