Hey Don paul i jus read thru the majority of your journal lol very informative i was wondering if i could ask u a question...I just ordered from the tude and was wondering which you think would be good for a begginer Cfl grower lol, the strains are as followed..

Hso - Bluedream
G13- Pineapple Express
HSO - Pineapple Skunk
RP - OG Kush
DNA- Cannalope Kush
RP - OG Kush #18
RP - Kandy Kush
RP - Headband Kush

I'm only doing 3 plants LST'd in a tent so height won't be an issue, i was wondering should i Veg one strain and take 3 clones that way it's all the same strain? or am I good doing diffrent ones? And also if you ever ordered from attitude what was average amount of days it took for your order to come? I'm just so excited!! Any help or input from you or anyone reading this is appreciated..God Bless

you got it mate, the auto i crossed with a none auto, i was told only a 1/4 will turn out auto, so ill need to select the best male and fem that turn out auto and cross these, this should then give me pure auto seeds,

here is what i crossed so far
reserva privade sour kush female cross with kiwi seeds male, this gave me around 300 seeds, i soaked about 5 and 2 sprouted so far, i planted them and they are growing pretty quick,

auto blueberry fem cross with ak47 cross uk cherry cheese male, ive harvested the smokable buds off this auto and left the other buds on that contain the seeds, ill wait till i can clearly see the seeds are ready, might even wait till they fall out the bud, that way i know they should be viable,

then i was lucky with the last 2 ak47 cross uk cherry cheese seeds, i planted the last 2 and i got 1 fem and 1 male, so i pollenated a couple of the buds so i can keep this strain going as i loved this strain last time i grew it, plus the seeds where from a seed bank that was trying a new strain so it has not got a name, we was just told to tell them how the plant grew and what the buds where like, so it may even be out for sale now but i dont know what they called it, i have not bought anything off this seed bank, they run an offer every few months where they give away packs of 10 seeds and they cover postage, so this is how i got these seeds, the problem was most where male, so i pollenated this to give me more seeds plus i took 2 clones in case i have problems with the seeds

Well Don at Least a Quarter of them will be Autos, I HOPE!!! Thats just Me being Me, so do not Feel i am getting You To Try And Start Fretting About It!!!! I wonder how The UK-Cheese X AK would work HERE OUTDOORS??? I also have though about Ordering UK Cheese before, as Seeds, But Learned Through research, That The Only OG UK CHEESE, is in Clone form Only, I do not want some Knockoff that will not work, hell i do not even know if the OG UK CHEESE, is a GOOD OUTDOOR PLANT!!! But I know AK is!!!

That is why I was wondering how your Cheese AK CROSS, would work here as well?!? Cheese Intrigues The Hell Out of Me!!! And I Do Not Know Why??? Well, I also hear about Your SLEESTACK??? I think that is what you Said, Give Me The Rundown, Genetics wise On These, hell On Everything Don, when You Feel Up To It That Is, or Never if you don't Feel Like It!!! @kingjaffy joe, mate ive not grown many strains so cant give you info on the strains you have chosen, but if it was me id have to go for something that was a strong indica so it would keep real bushy, cfls dont penetrate far, if you hold you hand on the bulb and slowly move it away you will notice a huge drop in light at around the 2 inch mark, so the training you want to do will keep them low, the plant i have grown that was short and fat was the special kush, so kush might be a good option but im not the best to ask, im sure someone else will jump in, the other thing would be femenised seeds, are any femenised, if they are then id go with the fem seeds, if their all regular then half will likely be male, so planting just 3 might not even get you 1 female, but it can get you 3 females so it works either way, but you would not know sex for 4 weeks for more,

@ james, thanks mate, the ak47 cross uk cherry cheese was a strain some seed bank was playing around with and was going to bring out, so every few months at the time they was giving away packs of 10 seeds for free and they even pay postage, no order needed you just needed to reply and if you was lucky you got the seeds, well i emailed the owner and got speaking and he hooked me up and got them to me a lot quicker, so they came and it was in a baggy with a label on it saying ak47 female cross with uk cherry cheese male, now the owner said it was a stable strain the breeder was sending them out as samples, he never said breeders name but he says its very reputable, i soaked the seeds and out of the 10 i got 3 females, so a high male ratio or i was unlucky, the 1st one i grew was the 2ltr dwc hempie, the buds where really fat and it grew really quick, and it was a damn nice smoke, so i had 2 seeds left and decided to plant them both, and i got 1 male and 1 female, so i crossed these with each other to get me some seeds of that strain, which i did and the seeds are popping out the bud but the plant is not ready for harvest for a few weeks so its made the seeds very quick, but i hear ak is a good quick strain, so its in its genes,

then i used the pollen to pollenate an auto blueberry as well, so im hoping the auto seeds will produce more bud, then ill get a male and female that was auto out them seeds and cross them to get a true auto strain, thats my plan,

the sleestack cross skunk was seeds i got free from herbies with an order, i got 2 x sleestack cross skunk regular, i have not checked what i says about the strain ill do this when im back at home later and see what it says,
but the ak47 cross uk cherry cheese is not listed on any site, but it may have a different name, but im sure outdoors the plant would be a monster, the buds on the 2ltr hempie where the fattest buds i have had so far, its quick growing and flowers quick this is why i wanted to keep the genes and get more seeds, its the best plant ive grown and smoked so far,

im coming over to have a read,

thanks spring, ill like to mix things up a bit, plus now ive got plenty of bud to smoke i dont need to worry to much about messing things up,
so i grew a few plants and use to kill the males, then i decided to try and make seeds so thats what im doing, but i plan on only trying to cross strains to improve them or keep that strain around, i really love the ak cross cheese but its not for sale anywhere, the buds get really fat on it as well so i hoped out of the last 2 seeds i had that 1 would be male, i got 1 male and 1 female, so i took clones off the female to keep that strain plus i crossed it with each other to get more seeds of that strain,

the kush and kiwi was like my first test at making seeds, i had only 1 male and it was some unknown kiwi strain, it was out of a pick and mix it could of been any of 6 top kiwi strains, but as it was male i could not go by the buds, but all the kiwi strains looked ok so i used this to test myself at getting seeds, and it worked and i got loads of seeds, plus i only put pollen on the buds i wanted seeds from and the rest of the plant was seed free.

im going to mess around with autos first and see if i can produce a auto that yields well, i know their are autos out their that do yield well but at least if i use the autos ive all ready grown then i have something to compare the cross with, so im just waiting now on the seeds from the auto, this is auto blueberry female and ak47 cross uk cherry cheese male, so im hoping the fast growing and big budded ak will add to the auto strain, thats my plan anyway, it will take a while but im sure ill get their in the end

Thats a ton of mixing! I am impressed and hope I get there one day! Im still trying to get my hands on those high yield auto Dragons. When I do Ill message you. They would make a great mix with some of your boys.

I want That Darn Ak Cheese Cross, I would like To Get About 20 Seeds, Plant Em All, Get Me Some GOOD Males, Hopefully I would Get At Least 2 savers. The Rest, about 8-12 females, save some for Breeding, and Grow Out The Rest, and See What The Old Garden Here's Environment Would Induce??? Just Speculating Out Loud Is All. The Sleestack Sounds Like an Interesting One as Well with the Skunk Genetics, Skunks Can Be Dodgey Outside, Without Enough SOLID Late Morning, Midday to Late After Noon Sun. yep you sure do, my journal was so slow when i first joined the site, but if im off line for a couple of days then i need to read a load of pages before i get caught up with my own journal, now times that by about 30 and it ends up taking a long time to catch up on all these journals, but its all good, i like checking on how all the grows are doing, plus their is so much info to take in, gives me the chance to improve my grow and learn new things

give me a shout if you find anything, im placing an order with herbies on wed, he now stocks ken estes gdp, genuine as well, i contacted herbie asking him the source of the seeds and he said ken is the supplier, so kens clone only gdp is now in seed form at herbies, works out at about £7 per seeds, plus the good part is their regular seeds as well, so ill order 10 and ill get the strongest male and fem and get me some seeds from the gdp for future crossing and future grows, it sounds and looks like an amazing strain, gg7 has grown it and he has got the original clone only version although he has crossed it and got seeds if i remember right, so ill order the gdp seeds and plant a couple to hopefully get 1 male and fem, ill only put pollen on a couple of bud sites so i can still flower and smoke the rest of the plant, looks and sounds like an amazing strain, along side these ill be buying some autos as well,

i have made another co2 gen using 2ltr bottles, i used 1 cup of sugar and a heaped tea spoon of yeast and added this to warm water, so now i got more co2 in the flower room and this should help things along a whole lot better

HEY DP, I was over at Jandre's thread and saw you were asking about vitamins.
the doc prescribed me 90mg potasium pills so for shits and giggles I put one in one of my plants soil.
I think that it did help alot. I just let it disolve slow. it realy did seem to help but I had to stop because they were for me and to counter act with the other meds I was taking.

thanks for the info, id need to look into it more before i start trying it, id prefer to crush a tablet and mix it with water and add it when i feed the plants, just depends if the human vitamins are the same as what these plants need, chances are im way off the mark, but i got a cupboard full of vitamins and multi vitamins, i dont use them so was going to throw them out, but then i was reading about the plants using vitamin b, i have tubs of this stuff so not chucked it out yet in case its possible to use them to benefit the plants, ill try and find out what i can

here is what he says the vit c tablet does
Garlic - systemic immune booster and pest repelent. Great against misquitos.
Cinnamon - sugar and pest repelent, effective against ants.
Beer - carbs.
Aspirin - has a hormone that triggers significant immunity boosters.
Vitamin C - produces larger flowers, more vigorous growth.

now im not sure how true all the info is as its a bit over my head to be honest, but he seems to know his stuff as ive read a few of his comments, i wont be trying anything till i know for sure it works,

so if vit c produces larger more vigorous flowers then i think this is where i like to start, would adding vit c to water improve the growth of the plant,

I would keep a close eye on my pH if I'm adding all these vitamins donpaul. A lot of these amendments, additives, and juices will obviously mess with your pH a little bit. A few of those are on the farther end of the pH scale in acidity. Some highly alkaline as well. Just my thoughts.
