First 2000 Watt SCROG

Stick with the Bloom nutes. I've grown Power Plant and I experienced early yellowing as well. Yellowing is actually natural during the later stages of flowering. Looking forward to the picture updates!

Cool I was hoping to hear that. I will def get the new pics up tomorrow

OK well this is day 35 of 12\12 I am very happy with the scrog so far and if anyone is thinking they may wanna do one stop thinking and do it scrog IMHO is the only way to grow.I am still a little worried about how yellow the leaves on the P.P. but as long as the nugs keep growing I guess I will leave it alone.:peace:

I pick em after they yellow. This strain may not be getting what it needs so it's consuming what it has. Most will do this in flowering. some sooner than others. I wouldn't worry about it as long as the newer growth looks nice.

yeah the guy at the hydro shop told me that its probably gonna taste pretty good cause its using all the available nutes and not to worry but hey this is where the pros are at and if I ever wanna hit my 1 g a watt goal then i need to listen to you guys.

perfect looking grow you have there!! later on I will be hitting you up on tips for the SCROG.

what did you do for the undergrowth? super prune it or just let it go.

did you do any "over / under" or Bend any?

any pest problems in the sea? have you used "No Pest Strips" before?

:nicethread:

Again it looks GREAT and gl in what you do:thumb:

Cool bro I will try to help you out the best I can.as far as the undergrowth I trimmed a little off every couple of day during veg and into the first 3 weeks of flowering I cut 36 clones and ended up keeping 29 of them I think I will be down to 28 as one is very small compared to the others. And for the training I topped them when they were about 7-8 in and cut them almost even< then I just kept pulling them under the screen and moving each site to the next hole every day. I stopped putting them under the screen at 3 weeks 12\12 most people stop training them under the screen at week 2 but I think I will get better results keeping them right on the screen vs letting them grow 10-12 in over the top of the screen i like tight dense nugs vs long airy buds.I battled fungus gnats early on and used gognats neem and no pest strips and thank god they havent came back .I had spidermites before but not on this one so far I think it has alot to do with getting clones from collectives and dispensaries and not taking a week to quarantine and hit them hard with neem even if they dont have pests better safe than sorry. I spraed with neem 2x a week during the veg stage and 1 week into flowering. From there I have depended soley on the no pest strips and they have been great and I highly recomend them. The pest strips wont get rid of bugs but they will keep them from rentering once you evict them bastards lol Thanks for the kind words bro and neem the shit out of your new grow preventative maitenance is better than a full on battle.

I have been hitting the girls with only water and 2tbsp per gallon of molasis every 3rd watering. It seems like everytime I hit them with molasis and no nutes some of the plants seem to curl and yellow ven some of the newer growth but then when I hit them with nutes they bounce back.what should I do?Should I just hit them with nutes every watering? I am afraid I am loosing nug size and weight any help would be great?:)

Hey great thread:bravo:

A quick question, how high is the screen, the plants, etc.

thanks

Hey thanks for stoping by The screen is about 12 in over the top of the pots.I am also trying to keep the top of the screen under 8 in wich I have done so far this way I will get hard thich dense nugs well hopfully lol

hey super 420 grower dudes and dudetts I need some help here I was told by a freind and have seen threads that show a 1000 watt light in an air cooled reflector only 12-16 in above the tallest nug.I just moved my light down and am right about 15 in from the top is this too close? should I run back out their and raise it back up?Please any info would be great:smokin:

This depends on how cool the air going thru is. As a general rule, If you can put your hands there and feel little heat you should be ok. Also since your deep into 12/12 make sure the temp at your tops doesn't get too high. Your running 2k on a fairly small table, I think you would be good keeping it higher if temps become a prob. spread is important too.

I have a light meter and it says im pretty much even all the way around. As for the air i have a 6in inline fan split to blow air through both and out of the room.I have a 6000btu a\c for the small 8x8 space I have.I did feel an little heat when I put my hand by the tallest nug<but it didnt seem to be any different than the sun on a hot day.Should I say screw it and move em back up or will leaving it closer help a whole lot with yeild an density?
