Heya Santb, how are ya dude? yeah plants are going good, got so many on the go right now :rofl: Harvested White Jack last night so hopefully will have a couple more to throw into flower tonight and free up some veg space :)

My GT fem is going nuts with it, I'm so happy!! And a Blueberry that's also living up to hype.. But in my head when I look at my frost is your plants, esp the WJ.. Wow I wanna smoke some of that...

Awesome :) Yeah man I love the mango, I am still searching for another mango pheno :rofl: I have a few mango strains here I could drop but I know its in these seeds I'm searching through ;) I will find it again or an even better one but will take time with the limited amount I can run at once :thumb: Right now its not even on my radar, got so much else happening in the garden :rofl: :rofl:
 
Yeah that sux, that's why they are rare ;) He also lost his Appalacia dad used in a lot of his crosses so they will never be remade either :thumb: the reviews on the Tranquil Elephantizer are spot on to Bodhi's description too, might have to invite a few girls around for a smoke test :rofl:
 
Ive been thinkin bout the next go round with the pollen. How bout this idea?

Im thinkin bout cloning off the dad and keeping the plant in a solo cup, and putting the clone into a 2 liter bottle. I'd put the plants in the flower tent. Then when the female is at 4 weeks Id take both outside for some sugar shack action. That way i can pollenate one or several plants and not worry bout the grow room.

Whatchu think?

Sounds like a good plan mate ;) as long as that male is nowhere near you flowering plants you don't want pollinated should be good to go, as before give them a good spray down with water to get rid of any active pollen before moving them back in :thumb:
 
Had no idea what I was getting into when I started reading this journal. Great job Feral, learned a lot.

Couple of questions.

How'd the bubbler you used for germination work out? you using it for old seeds only or for all seeds?

Did I read you say that you'll get more potency flowering after a re-veg?

Tbh the bubbler worked out pretty well for anything I threw at it, got a couple of old seeds sprouted with it which was the main accomplishment but unfortunately I didn't know about the method before I had already just about burnt through all my old seeds of one strain lol. I have not used it in a while, lately have been using fresh seeds and going oldschool, seed straight into dirt and water it :rofl: I originally got the idea of the bubbler from duke diamond when I saw it on his Instagram but I messed it up a little, still works but the next one will be better, I have since had a chat to duke about it and he showed me the right way ;) Needs to be a sealed jar with an air line/airstone so it creates pressure in there which helps the tough old seeds to open, solution in there should be around 100ppm ga3 solution with a little sugar :thumb: Still not a guarantee it will germinate seeds that have not been stored properly but seems to be the best way to get the old ones going, a lot of work if you wanted to use it for every germination, myself id only really use it if I'm finding troubles with a certain strain ;)

I wouldn't know if you get more potency after a reveg, I have noticed increases in potency of plants ive revegged but it could even just be that the plant is more mature the next time I flower it, the conditions might be slightly better or have dialled in the nutes, grower skills each round get better too :rofl: only way to really tell would be run one revegged and one of the same plant not revegged side by side and compare, I could probably give it a go with my strawberry diesel x space dude as I have the mother inside and one revegging outside :)

Considering the shit she has been through, M1 is looking like an exceptional plant, definitely reminds me of some sort of haze, her smell is oldschool :thumb:

Outside the other day I went to check on the plants, had 3 clones in soil outside the greenhouse, walked around the corner to bust a rabbit eating them, ate these 2 but didn't touch the La Nina :rofl: meanwhile the door for the greenhouse has been open for weeks and there are lettuce growing about 1m in they have not touched, they don't like the rock in there :rofl:

Finally got around to taking a clone from my Strawberry Cough male reveg, roots so quick now, 4 days to produce these :)

Everything else seems on track too, Pollen tent should be ready to harvest once WJ is done drying, took a popcorn bud from the Skywalker Kush and popped out the seeds to check maturity, these are Skywalker Kush x (Purple Urkle x P.75), I'm calling them Purple Skywurkle :rofl:

Thanks bro ;) hehe yeah not too worried about a name, all depends how it turns out when I test it, more interested in a few of the other crosses I have going on in there :) Silver Mountain and Killer Queen are the main ones, with all I have to get through I may not ever even get to the skywalkers lol, someone will enjoy them :thumb:

Id recommend checking on a popcorn bud or something like I have when the time gets close, if the lowers are mature you can pretty much guarantee the main cola seeds will be done also, kinda like flowering a plant normally, the popcorn will take longer to mature due to lack of light :thumb:

I have in the veg tent, a couple of curtain rods on a diagonal for the sides of the tent which helps ;) I haven't bothered with the flower tent because its never been full enough to worry about, doesn't seem to suck in as bad as the other tent either :thumb:
