Okay so I've made my selection. Mostly old school bag seeds that are named; Purple hair, buhdda, budda, VD, blue and stripes. Let's see if these pop because they range from 30-40 years old, gave them a scuffing with sand paper so hopefully something comes alive. After those ones there are 2 that more recent bag seed one called C skunk and the other called mystery (named it mystery because i have no idea what they are lol). If most of these don't germinate I'll be replacing them with more stock from the ol'seedbank. I'll keep you updated on how these first lot go

Hey feral have u ever grown facemelt og from dark horse genetics?? I remember u were doing the bruce banner from their lineup

Currently growing it now mate Got packs of Bruce Banner, Face Melt OG and Kings Banner XIII I have not flowered her yet but i do have a clone of her i was going to throw in the pollen tent after i harvest a few plants

So do I, especially the purple hair since I have none of those seeds left :/ Ohhhh man that would be heaps awesome, old school seeds from vietnam would have some amazing genetics. Let us know how you go brother!

Cheers man If he was around NSW in the 70's-90's then yeah these just might be it cause the guy i got them from is originally from NSW, they were one of the first seeds to sink in the glasses of water so looking good so far Haha yeah weed these days would be stronger but some people prefer the more mild stones of old school stuff. I bet he would love to get his hands on some of that old school buddha even though he has access to your dynamite modern hybrids, what do you reckon?

Thanks mate Yeah the Sour looks fantastic, spewin none of the close up pics turned out of her, was thinking of chopping her out last night too but figured id leave her in another week or so, should have enough space now that ive harvested Rollex and Inc Bulk Gorilla is looking awesome, has a very similar bud structure to the Snake Venom i grew last round, both GG#4 crosses but the Bomb version seems a lot more stable

Yeah that's defo in the time period he would have been talking about mate always been in NSW, would have started smoking in the late 60's, early 70's
I don't know if the weed is any stronger today but more of how its grown, back then it was a plant you throw in the ground, add water and then smoke it, with all the advancements in nutrients and people actually knowing how to grow these plants now it seems like a more potent plant but really just better looked after I reckon if you took the same plant from 40 years ago and grew it today it would be even better than most of the crappy hybrids that are out there, would probably be one of the most potent plants as it hasn't been watered down
Tbh i think id probably prefer to smoke the Buddha too compared to a lot of these modern strains, i just want weed that tastes like weed, not these purple polkadot banana cheese socks
Red Afro from memory was Paradise or Tropical seeds, pistils are supposedly full on red or purple depending on phenotypes

Yeah I'm in the same boat mate, i don't need to buy any seeds for 5 lifetimes I'm just waiting on resend from my last order, then i need to sort out payment on my MNS order and that's it for me, will have all the strains ive planned on doing crosses with (if i ever get to them all )

Thanks mate only reason i spotted the freak leaf is because i was trying to get a picture of one of the biggest leaves on the plant, went into the gallery on my phone to see if it was clear and spotted it can see it in almost all of the pics ive put up in the past week or so i will have to go back and have a look, pretty sure it was the same leaf i took a pic of on top of my hand
I'm looking for an awesome White Jack Cross too, something really nice, then ill take a male and backcross it to the mother White Jack Dready is releasing a new one in a few weeks, Double Agent Orange sounds like an orange on steroids id like to grab it but tbh i had the 24k which is an orange flavor, got the Orange Bubba growing now and I'm not even after an orange plant

Thanks bro yeah a few are starting to get some awesome coloring to them now that temps have cooled right off White Jack, Strawberry Diesel x space dude and Killer Queen are all starting to get purple tips to their calyxes, Strawb space dude smells awesome, a lot like cindy but with a chocolate after smell (unless that's coming from another plant near it lol)
Rollex went full on purple too, should see similar coloring if not more intense coloring to the girl in the big tent

I was expecting a bit of stretch to her as its known as the indica that grows like a sativa, shit half my sativas aint even got that much stretch Flowers its producing though look and smell fantastic, very compact solid nugs Id say you are bound to find at least one in the lot you are running
