Thanks mate just a novelty item right now, I don't sell them, esp not on here, just added a few in with the CKS seeds I promised Canno from the POTM comp all untested strains and crosses from the last round with Sour D, I could never sell them, just messing around with whatever I had in my tents and not planned crosses, tbh I'm years off creating something I'm going to be happy with, by the time I do the crosses and then extensive testing on each strain

It's what I plan to do since I have some "special" genetics. Seed banks will start popping up in Aus a lot more now that the legalization door is open. Only a matter of time so might as well try and get into the industry before it gets flooded with shady seed banks and the like.

That's it mate yeah trying to get some awesome genetics going in aus so it gives people a bit of a selection without needing to ship internationally or costing a fortune that's another thing, doing the work now so that you have stable genetics for when it does become legalized, as you say there will be a lot of shady banks popping up in aus when that does happen, a lot of them will probably be shady f2 feminised crosses, trying to reproduce whats already out there

I up potted a mother plant today so I can grab some clones from her, she is an Elephant Stomper from Hazeman this thing has been in my tent for probably a year and a half in a tiny pot, has never been flowered, tbh I don't even know if its worth keeping I originally had plans to flower it out a long time ago but the one I dropped was male (still got him too), as soon as I figured that out I dropped this one in with plans to flower it out but then things got a bit hectic with the other genetics I was running it always got pushed further back will grab a pic tonight

Yeah I figure its time I do something with her lol, tbh I mainly just want to get rid of the ugly plant, she is so tall and spindly from being pot bound for so long I mainly want to grab a fresh clone so I can start from scratch and have a smaller mother plant, who knows it may even be shit and throw it in the bin, free up space for something else Was looking into the genetics earlier and has Purple Urkle way back in the original Purple Elephant genetics, I have a few Urkle strains I'm running right now so may use my male to pollinate them all and see what I get whole heap of purple crosses

Exactly bro, gotta share the love around here first before going international I bet a lot of people will go for oz genetics from overseas as well so it seems like a pretty good idea Yep yep, gotta put in the work now so later I'm not caught of guard if there is a sudden influx of orders and the like of that nature. Maybe you and I can set something up, sharing genetics and maybe creating a business together...see what happens Another thing is to get in early (like SSS) and create a loyal base of clients, breed great genetics and don't be shady. We'll be rolling in the moulah haha. As you said in regard to what i said about the shady breeders, for sure there will people out there trying to make quick money with shitty genetics and/or non-selective breeding. You have those old seeds from your old man and his mates and I have what i have so together we could produce some really nice Australian bred/grown genetics. Keep our Oz genetics more pure and obviously make some nice crosses from internationally sourced genetics. Think about it

Definitely up for something in the future, maybe a whole bunch of us could get together and knock it out of the park Still working on getting these seeds of dads sprouted, dropped a couple into coco the other day in the greenhouse alongside the other 2 which I think one may have a root I bloody hope so as I have 7 left I defo want to run some more of the mango seeds from my dads mate, full on sativas though so cant really do many inside at a time, id love just to be able to fill my property with them Id love to get my hands on some more local stuff, I should ask my dads mate if he can get some different seed from his brother, he grows up north nsw and has a few connections

Should be a ripper of a season coming up so get them started inside and make em big! Growing eucalypt trees with mangoes (just made that up lol with inspiration from Soil King but this is the auzzie version ) You should deffs do that man, more seeds the better imo.

Bonza is based in the UK and a lot of the others that claim to be Australian seed banks are based over-seas sooo yeah idk if it's just me but there aren't as many australian based seed companies compared to say spain and the Netherlands. Doesn't mean we can't get on the train of success in a field we all love.....true?

The strain hunters like the recently passed Franco Loja has/had my dream job. Traveling the world talking, learning and experiencing the different cultures of cannabis and how it affects peoples lives. You know just learning as much as i can about the plant. Its super exciting haha

Yeah man, heaps of aussies already doing stuff behind the scenes, mostly from other sites, lot of shonky blokes out there too noticed more and more popping up on facebook trying to sell their seeds and shit last time I was on there, that was ages ago though lol, I wouldn't trust half of the genetics are what they say they are, so many people claim to have Mullum but do they really? Tbh I'm just glad I will never have to buy a seed again, if other people benefit then all good

I initially bought one of the handheld DYMO's but the tape was expensive as shit and only had a few built in fonts you could use, the Labelwriter was a bit more expensive but plugs into the PC and can use any design you want, even pictures, takes all different rolls of labels and can pick up big bundles of them for cheap on ebay, the big labels I use for packing are like 240 per roll and I got 2 rolls for $12, smaller labels for plants there are like 1000 stickers per roll

yep, I hear you there, had so many fall off or rub off and not knowing what those plants are makes things hard with the amount I run it makes things so much easier, got a whole heap of Male/Female stickers ready to go in there too I just pop on either when pheno hunting, so many times I have sexed a plant and forgot to label it, doesn't take long to check again but wouldn't have to if I just put a label on

Yeah I'm hoping to at least get a female from them, M and F would be better but don't mind doing a bit of work to bring it back if need be as soon as one pops up the rest of the seeds will go in, they are already that old that keeping them any longer would be useless hopefully should give me a couple of plants but I'm not holding my breath

That would be an amazing job but something I wouldn't be able to do for a long ass time, being a single parent makes it hard to do anything that's not local, at least until the boy finishes school Will defo be doing a shitload of travelling when he is older I can tell you that much who knows if the culture will be the same by then, could be made illegal world wide again by then knowing my luck anyways lol
