Fast Buds Fun Time Wiv Ya GanjaGrandaddy: L.O.S. V Coco Shootout

Hey GG! Looking good so far buddy. Don't let the Misses squash the spider. I hide mine in the laundry pile. No one will ever find them there. I'm surprised that the laundry has not started composting itself yet lol. Nice poodle
:passitleft:
I have to keep spidey a big secret or she hunts !!!!!.lol

poodle ?? cheeky sod , that's my eldest girl !!!!
I am still more paranoid than a dying rat in a tampon factory about overdoing it in the Los with waterings but the mulch helps hide the soil from my focus so I can avoid tinkering.lol
I am ok with the coco girls but this new medium has me convinced i am not keeping it optimal for the bennies. Need to tey and get the watering amounts sussed so i dont compact it or create sludge. I feel more confident with them being in fabric pots and i have them sat on saucers too so i at least know any excess would run off. I have given them about 500ml spiralled towards the middle on the last watering session so i am taking it steady. fingers crossed. lol

Everything will turn around great :Namaste:
Thank you Sara. They are changing daily now so fingers, toes and eyes crossed it will turn around very fast .lol

Day 10 : All looking happier and without doubt bigger. The leaders are not so leading now and aside from the bluedream , are a decent size for their 10 days above ground. Stems are fattening up nicely with the tower fan forcing them to join in the dance ( bit like the priests at school !!) . There are one or two with odd looking leaf sets poking out and angled and one of the smoothies looks like a Halloween stunt with ugliness!.

The paler leaf has not coloured up yet so no idea what's happening there yet but my inputs have been minimal prior to the paling so not sure where to head with it. cotyledons are still full and hearty on all of the ladies so cant really be hunger. I am ph 5.9 and using a product to kill the chlorine/chloramine too. The medium is mixed with ecothrive charge ( mealworms frass) but I cant imagine this would be active yet so no clues at all. So far they are not held back it seems but with about 4 showing it I could use some advice or ideas guys ??. No signs of pests besides a couple of normal spider strands either.

In all I am not concerned too much about anything and look forward to getting the training going on these ladies now.

I have been hoping to find megacrop too but still no fucking joy grrrr. seen a mew thread by Emilya too that is singing its praises for soil so now need some even more as I can use it in the LOS maybe ??. Mr Sauga is mega pro. Any thoughts on how it goes with LOS Mr S ?.
Hope your all green and pleasant.

It’s gonna be fun to watch their divergence now from such similar beginnings. Except for those other two (overwatered and N def? Who knows..) striking out for individuality already.
Baby photos all look the same don’t they?

Looking real good for the most part,GG-the odd ones are still just finding their groove!

so true DD. such a boring phase but sadly essential.lol
Always interesting to see the clear leaders and leaf shape oddities early on though. Good for spotting the different phenos from the strains too. The Gz last round were really good for that too. I think when it comes to real feeding time, the differences will be more obvious on the mediums too. The ugly looking smoothie jad her helmet well stuck and her cotyledons were well fused together. I spent a while slowly slicing her outer skin to get them to open on her. I think the resultant damage is her response to damaged cells . Thankfully doesnt seem to be slowing her down at all.
cheers DD.

Thanks Cass. always the same during this phase lol. worries the shit out of me. I have 8 children so you can imagine my birthing suite support skills.lol
Thanks for the comments and encouraging words matey.

That's a good question. You should pop on in to the Mega Crop Thread. There's a rep there, although really not much help, but maybe somebody there has an answer.

Isn't ph should be around 6~6.5 during veg? :bongrip:

Thanks Mr S. Having been a big fan of Emilya for a while with the organics ect. I went the LOS route on 4 pots this run. I have been watching with a lot of interest among our group and others and it seems MC is THE nute to do the trick we all hoped for but with supply being impossible here it seems , I stopped my search and put all my efforts into the Los.Now even the Godess has flipped .lol .With her love of organics ect , it has me perplexed to its actual benefits now. To throw an organic farmer off track , it must have a similar/better outcome. I am tempted to bite the bullet and pull the trigger on the 9kg bags available but that is a hell of a lot of a product for me to use I reckon.lol Thanks for the thread tip , I had forgot there are so many forums here tbh. I get so into the journals and stuff.lol
have a good day mate. thanks for the reply.

Not for coco Sara. I use 5.8 usually but as it is still early days , they are only really using fluids for the h20 really as the little cotyledon leaves are still supplying drip-fed nutrient to them all. I would be more concerned if they had consumed them and were fading. The L.O.S pots dont need a ph'd water unless there is a big step away from the 5.6-7. ph range in your supply. I am confident they will right themselves soon. I know the LOS takes a few weeks to begin making usable nutrition naturally so around day 21 should be perfect for when they have eaten their coty leaves. Thanks for the comments Sara. Always appreciated. :green_heart: :thanks:

Day 12: Nearly 2 weeks above the soil and they are pushing their 4th nodes in general. Seems like a long way off for a finish at this stage but being autos, the short veg time has me wondering how they will go from this stage to worthy of flowering to finish. I expect to be in awe when they get their true beat going.lol
heres a rundown of the ladies so far

LSD-25. #1 in the Los, is a very pale green still and so far I am assuming it is going to right itself at some point when she can feed better. I am trying to dial in the right watering amounts for them all but hard to judge as it needs to be moist but not wet ect... The mulch gives me some piece of mind to keeping some moisture on the surface but the under over watering is driving me nuts , hence why I avoided soil.lol.The coco girls are looking good though.#3 has some very podgy indica looking leaves going on so maybe a diff pheno there. fed again today at 1/4strength with coco , silicon , calmag, and a little biosys tea. Los all had a tea of biosys and root stim ( organic)

Smoothie Auto have been growing steadily this last few days #1 and #3 are clear front runners at the moment with #3 just out in from. The Los has not slowed her down so far and they are close to each other but with not feeding properly yet , that could change. #2 has some nice broad set leaves too , another heavy indica pheno on this strain too maybe ?.

BlackBerry Auto are ambling along steadily. The smaller of the group ,these ladies are short and squat looking compared so I might let them find their own way a little regards training them. Maybe just a topping and a little guiding.#1 and #3 are paler in comparison too but the surgery to some had an effect I think. hoping the teas today will sort a little out.

I consider that the veg cycle starts right after the seedlings establish themselves, 3-5 days from hitting the surface but just for simplicity, I start the count as soon as all my plants are above ground.

so when does veg begin ????.
Since they're autos, they may be in mid-veg right now-beginning to flower at 24 days
isn't unusual-I've had them flower at day 21, 23, day 26, and the odd one that waited till day 40.
I've only grown 5 autos,so not an expert, that's just been my experience so far...

Day 12 (cont...)
Bluedreamatic have surprised me with their catching up speed the last few day days too. No idea what held them back but they are trying to get busy now again thankfully. I am hoping they have all settled in to their final homes now and can get root building ready for all the feeding they are going to get. They are all on about node 3 and look good. No differences between the pots and los so far bit as before , I expect this will change as time goes on.

Thanks Cass. I am perplexed how they will get to the worthy size from this point even more now.lol I did have a pineapple express I screwed up a while back and that girl grew tall very quickly but I used 12/12 assuming she could go with my photos on flip time. ended badly !!!. lol. fingers crossed I am totally wrong on my fears here.lol

Thank you. I did think this would be the case. On totally new ground with autos so probably worrying over nothing at this point. Watching your mc with interest too. Something has you off your foundation so must be a goody ?. MC in supersoil Emilya. I use the amendments too , how would mc be of use ?. curious a lot here.

I am perplexed how they will get to the worthy size from this point

What I've seen is that they do most of their growing after they start flowering- I just ignore the flowers, and train them as if they were still vegging- there's really nothing to train till they start stretching, and they don't stretch till they're flowering, so there ya go...
