i wouldn't say there is anything all that wrong with any of the drivers mentioned. i have a rig with a moon driver i'm eventually gonna mod for dimming before i run it.
mean well is industry standard but you pay for it. it can add a
lot to the cost. the brand sells above delivery plenty of the time.
that said i'm pretty loyal to the brand lol
only on the metal body elg and hlg series though. elg series is often cheaper than the equivalent hlg and is a better driver depending on how you set the rig up for dimming. of course mean well pushes the pricier hlg ...
the juson, the moon, and pairu are all pretty decent and easy to source if needed. if something fails it's also not hard to swap drivers out if you know the wiring. they won't break wallets if you have to do it either. you can also interchange them if needed.
i'd be really really surpised if you get less than 5 yrs out of them.
Everything was great quality.
They took lmb281b+ and under powered them to get more efficiency like migro did.
there's an industry safety standard. most don't under power less than that. it's pretty deep already, something like 50%.
the harder the emitters get driven the less they live. heat kills them eventually. with dimming i never go above 90% full. the 10% head room will make the rig last twice as long with no real change in potency or finish weight.
i also always stuff as much rig into the space as i can. i overlight the space and use dimming.
edit: i also love the strip rig architecture like yours has. best way to distribute light evenly.
