Fall Start: Taking On Three

I’m going to try three this fall. Purple haze, Bruce banner and super lemon haze. They grow in similar climates. It may be chewing a bit mire off but hey, why not.

The seeds were soaked until a tail was shown. Their in a Mars hydro tent eith two TSW-2000 lights set at 20” above soil. Humidity is being kept high with plastic bowls over the soil until I see a sprout. I have two 8” fans in the tent circulating air and a 6” opening fan suck g the cool room air in for a little exchange. They’re planted in happy frog medium and I’ll be using the fox farms fertilizer system.

Wish me luck!

I do. I grew indica last time for sleep but sativa is my favorite for day.
We are blessed with an assortment to choose from aren't we? Happy you popped and the babies look well!

We all do like options :)

I think my one seed was a dud but I’m giving it a little more time. The rest of the girls are on their second set of leaves and starting nutrients Monday. I’ll be using fox farms. Temperatures stay between 74 and 67. My humidity currently is at 53%. Lights on 18/6. I bought these plastic water diverter so water disperses evenly and keeps the dirt from drying out too fast while they are young. When they get about 6-7” I’ll remove them I think. I don’t want the soil too wet over night. So far they are looking good

Congrats on the new babies. I love me a good sativa and Super Lemon Haze is on my wishlist so I'd like to follow along.

Am I the only one that plays music for the plants?

I have no idea if you're the only one. I blare rock music for hours most days and we're only in a 1000 square foot house so they're getting music whether they like it or not. :laughtwo:

The dud seed started to sprout! Very nice. So what was supposed to be three is now five. The girls started nutrients from fox farms today so week one starts :) it’s two purple haze, two Bruce banner and one super lemon haze.

Lighting is 2 of the ts-2000 from hydromars and a burple viperspectra 650w. It’s a little much I know. I just keep an eye for light burn. I have three clip on fans pushing air in the 5x5x7 grow tent. A one gallon humidifier and a digital heater in case cold nights hit. My tent is in the basement so it can get chilly there this time of year. They are in happy frog medium. Three gallon fabric pots. My temps are staying now between 67 and 80. Humidity is at 57 currently.

My last grow (which was my first) had a good harvest but I took notes where I made mistakes so def gonna avoid those this round.

So here’s what I got going on. The two purple haze are largest, then one Bruce banner and the super sour lemon (SSL) are neck and neck in size then a runt Bruce banner.

I pinched the top of the purple haze plants one to stunt their upward growth a bit and Reo to bush them out. This will also give the one Bruce banner and the SSL a chance to catch up in height. Honestly the runt Bruce banner I’m gonna just let her do her thing. These guys are on week four of growth and week four of fox farms nutrients which I will repeat next week too just to level their growing a bit then switch the lights. Listen, it’s only my second grow… I’m learning but all in all they look pretty dang healthy. This grow I’m not doing any defoliation except many a leaf or two on the underside but we’ll see. Last time I over did it a tad.

Humidity is 42%. Temp range is between 76 day and 68 night. When I switch lights I’ll switch night temps to cooler. They’re getting about 60k lux of light.

Start of week 5 but I’m not switching lights until Wed. Giving the smaller ones just a few more days to beef up. My lights were WAY too low so the plant leaves are unbrella-ing instead of reaching out. I moved the lights up and reduced intensity just a smidge. I’ll check to see how they response in an hour if so.
