I think you are too, for some you already are and for others like me very close, and a minority at least a few weeks out. Congrats!

I would only add as a persistent PITA given that it’s your first run and have as much as you do; don’t be afraid to chop samples along the way. You may find preferences for different things at different levels that only you will know for yourself despite what any of us say about it. I greatly encourage this, especially when you have nothing to lose!

Yeah not first run but I’m certainly still a noob!!!

From previous grows I’ve found I like about a 70/30 cloudy/amber mix. And with this much I’m perfectly fine if it’s not all at that ratio. It’s all going to get mixed together so every nug I pull out of the jar/bag can be a bit of a surprise:)

@Lady Cannafan what do you use for photo stacking when comes to the software? I found your photos very appealing!

I'm photo amateur by myself, I get curious when comes to the plants macro photos so bought the camera and lenses. Still consider myself vary amateur, but I like to play with the setup and close ups.

Hi @Puszcza
You are getting in nicely close in those photos. Great job. :)

My basic editing workflow is mostly all done using Light Room Classic, and Photoshop.

When I finish the last camera shot in a series for stacking, I take a blank shot, usually by putting my hand in front of the camera before I snap another series. This is so when my photos are loaded to light room classic from the camera, I know which series of shots belong together.

From Light Room I highlight all photos in the series, choose "photo", then "edit in" and "open as as layers in Photoshop".
In Photoshop I highlight all of the photos in the layers panel, then from the tool bar at the top I use the "auto-align layers", then "auto-blend layers" in the edit function.

Once that is completed and cropped as necessary, I save them back to light room and do any necessary adjusting with exposure etc.
That's a basic how-to on my processing for stacking.

Happy shooting!

Thank you for the workflow!
I'm using open source darktable myslelf. Maybe when I will get some nice flowers I could get back to stacking research as well, would be happy to avoid paid software.

Both of you have great pictures and Lady thanks for the workflow as Puszcza said!

I’ve been using some lame online one and it just doesn’t cut it. I need to suck it up and just do the adobe cloud sub so that I have all of the fun tools :)
