Experiments With Blue Cheese - Brassic Style

9 minutes till showtime

Hey Everyone

Just a quick note to let you all know that things are OK over here. There's little to show you at the moment, all the girls are now on 12/12. As soon as there are noticeable changes, I'll get some pics posted.

Thanks for dropping by.

Some of you will remember I planted a clone around 12 or 13 days ago using a method described here

Experiments With Blue Cheese - Brassic Style

I named her after our lovely Dresney, the famous DIY and Sunday night game show personality.

So how has she been getting along?

When I first put her in her new home, she looked like this

I described how this low maintenance method was basically set and forget. Just make sure she got water !
I think I had to top her up twice over the period.
12 says later after no special treatment and all sorts of light cycle abuse, she looked like this

I think I mentioned how the fan leaves will sometimes get used in the process, and that is clear what's gone on here.

Nip off the dead leaf, and we got ourselves a viable plant ready to go into some full spectrum light with regular feedings. Easy.
Still no need to disturb the plant she'll be OK in that cup for another 2 weeks at least.

We might lose the fan on the left later, no big deal new branching is getting established in that area.

Heya, BB. :ciao:

I think today is the day for my first clone attempt.

I'm going to try this method if I can find a suitable cup. I have some styrofoam cups, but I'm sure I shouldn't sit those in water for several weeks.

I refuse to go to the store today. I went out four times yesterday for various grow-related items. I'm finished shopping for the week! :laughtwo:

My guiding hand shall be close by Dres, can't see a problem with styrofoam it gets used as hydroponic floats and all sorts of uses in water.

For true. Styrofoam would be fine. Use it for clones & seedlings all thr time.

Hey buddy, just dropping in. Hows things my friend? Love the simple leave alone tech for your clone. I gave up on simple as didn't seem to work for me lol. so now got pumps, tubs, ex flip flop stem retainers lol. Not sure it ill work but it was a fun prodject for an hour :)

Hey LA :ciao:

All is well over here my friend. Yeah the tubs, tubes and pumps thing, just what I was kinda trying to avoid. Give us the low down though if it all works out for ya.
