Experiments With Blue Cheese - Brassic Style

I wish I had that problem...

She won't make it. There is too little sunshine and it looks like she has nowt left to re-veg with.

Nice harvest btw :)

Hmmm

She looked a lot like this back in May. Of course it was nice and warm inside, am I being a bit sadistic or just sad by suggesting this?

They're tiny moths that lay eggs in linens. I think it's actually their larvae who eat the linens.

They're the reason mothballs exist.

I think the common term is 'clothes moth.' The fancy-pants term is Tineola bisselliella. :geek:

I hate them because they chewed up an expensive skein of alpaca yarn. Instead of 500 meters of one string of yarn, I had 500 1 meter pieces of expensive yarn.

Needless to say they're on my 'KOS' list now.

@ Dres

Ah those little critters. They must be pretty darn rare in my part of the world these days, because I've yet to come across a case. Probably because there is much less natural fiber around.

OK voting closed. The ya's have it. Will she pull through? Stay tuned.

Right now that we are well away from page 13 (I'm superstitious like that). I want to mention my security issue an how it affects things going forward. Thank you all BTW for your concern.

I agonised long and hard and decided the show must go on. However the bottom line is that the issue will not just go away, so I now have to live with that. Sadly that means in the short term at least, my ambitions have been curtailed somewhat.

The 3 + 3 will go ahead as planned, that is about all I can manage for now. The first three girls are now at 28" tall and look great (if I do say so myself). Today they get to try their new home and flip to 12/12. I'll do a pic update later.

Thanks again guys n gals. Hopefully better things are on the horizon and the experiments shall continue (I have a longer term plan).

Less is more !

I may have missed the security issue.

Good luck with that. Be careful.

There is too little light now to reveg outside.

Even a little wardrobe with cfls and a fan may keep her going till spring.

Then she could flower outside before the days get too long.

Hi Everyone :ciao:

Sorry for the late pic post, I got blazed last night.

I gave the ghetto box an upgrade. New vertical light diffusers, had to hang 'em with Duck tape as they're not designed for my fittings. I'm pleased with the result though. No more worries over fried greenery !

The three girls have settled in well and done their first night of 12/12

Just need to add a small fan and make some ghetto style reflectors for the cfl's.

I love that set-up Brit! Looks like a store bought fully assembled Grow cabinet.

Thank you so much Reg. That's such a nice compliment.

The basic box came in at around $50 for materials iirc.
