Exotic Genetix Trap Star Grow Journal By TwoX

Trap star update.. We're getting close to the end with 3 harvested and 2 to go.. Sorry I haven't been as active lately, I feel worn out with very little energy and all I want to do is sleep.. This hot ass weather isn't helping either.. I must be getting old.. lol

With all 3 down and dried it was easy to choose a keeper. After all is said and done I'm personally not happy with#5 and #1. Both of them are very bland with very little terps to please my taste buds. The cherry smell really faded away with these 2 phenos and had a slight gas taste. Maybe I've been spoiled for the last 2 years but these just dont do it for me.

Even though the smell and taste don't scream, the high is over the top with every pheno. Everyone has a strong happy, make you stupid kinda high. Walking around smiling for no reason asking stupid questions... lol, I luv it.. lasts avout 2 hours for me which is about 30 min longer than most my strains. I've noticed at break time I'm not itching to smoke like I usually am and time flys..

Another issue I've had with every pheno is the stability issues on the lowers and mids. It kinda sucks throwing a fat bud in the grinder and realizing you missed a seed. I'm having to sift through the ground bud picking out seeds shells. Not cool. The tops are clean for the most part and some are seeded more than others. I hoping my clones don't do the same.. if the keepers I choose express stability issues on my second run they will be tossed. I'll still f2 them for another day but I don't have time to be fucking around with lady boys..

This is my keeper. Nice yeild, semi dense buds,(5 was fluffy) trichomes for days and the only cut with a appealing terpin profile. The cherry came through on this cut with a nice musky scent that reminds me of cookies.. The og in the cookies has a distinct flavor. This TrapStar almost reminds me of marshmellows. This one still had minor issues but I'll run her again to see what she does..

TrapStar #10..

This one's a winner.. Frost on everything, dense nugs with tight calyx growth and a nice smell.. She got the chop 2 days ago and will probably hang dry for 5 more if she dries like her sisters. The nugs got fat on the final swell with very little coloring during her flush. She lightend up with very little yellowing. This one just screams keep me so I'll run her again... She's a bad ass so far...

My god twox!! U never seem to amaze me. Maybe it's the garbage genetics some people think u like to run! Awesome job on those trap star's they all would have a in my garden! I do have a ihg platinum scout v2 and a csi Mendocino underdog that I just put in flower so soon I'll finally have some U.S genetics to try out. Keep up the awesome gardening.

Damn, your about to have some killer buds.. That Plantinum scout is no joke.. I've heard great things about her. Lots of peiple with multiple keepers per pack. Csi does a great job too. The mendocino purps is supposed to be really terpy.. Good choices. Your about to have some amazing trash in your garden too.. lol. Thanx for the love.. ill have a IHG Slurricane update tonight in my other journal and all 5 of them are crazy. They might be the best strain I've ever grown.. terps for days

I can't wait until #10 is dry... I have some high hopes for that one... #4 was good and shes been the only one ive been smoking.. Maybe that's why ive been so lazy.. I dusted a branch of Purple Urkle and Birthday Cake with some male Trapper pollen for a future grow.. The Urkle cross is going to be soooooo stoney..

Thanx B, I should have a smoke report in about 5 to 6 days. Drying has been going slow in this higher humidity. Buds turn out nice though..

I have 5 Slurricane in my other journal that are almost done, she's something special too, super proud to have such such beautiful stinky buds and it feels like my hunt for better genetics is paying off..Theyre killer.. I also have a bday cake and purple Urkle flowering for my TrapStar cross, they're about 4 weeks in.. I also just put 3 female Mimosas (Purple Punch x Clemintines)in flower that might give my Slurricanes some competition. I also popped 10 seeds of Seed Junkies Animal Cookie bx2 x chem 91. These were some testers I agreed to run for jbeezy... My first chem strain, should be pretty killer. After that I haven't decided yet. I have a nice back stock of seeds and I really want to grow something with orange cookies in it. I'm thinking Jaws Apricot cookies, Relentless Orange Cookies or Seed Junkies Wedding Cake x Orange coookies.. I can't decide yet..

Warning: once you start on the chem-d variants, gonna be hard to let them go.

I'm still running my first Chem-d from like 2015. I have 3 clones going right now that would easily turn into a room full, I wouldn't even hesitate! Should be great with the Cookie mix. Yummy!

With all the ranting and raving by my peers about how great the chem is I'm super excited and have zero doubts that I'll find something I'll love. The animal cookie bx2 was used in all his mint crosses so I'm having some high expectations for this run.. Im hoping for atleat 6 females... fingers crossed
