i feel ya on the leaf sweat . took me a week or so to figure out why some of my overlapping leaves would have a moisture circle on them.

It's getting pretty crowded in there, now that we're on the 9 segment fan leaves, in there looking like Wreck it Ralph's hands, all sprawled out and that.

Considering tying them down, but worried they might go mouldy if they fold up or touch each other. I'm in that cupboard ruffling them about to make sure they're getting air and such.

Still considering pruning the ones that appear to want to black out the bud sites...

that what i just spent an hr doing . removing and tucking fan leaves that were covering bud spots .. those dam fan leaves grow back so fast .

So, humidity is sitting at 42%; I feel that as Autumn ages and the plants grow larger, I'll soon be exploring the murky world of humidity management, that is to say, fighting it.

Really don't want to end up in a world where the word "Spore" starts getting thrown about on the regular, so, if anyone can hit me up with some methods preemptively, I'd be most greatful*.




*a dehumidifier isn't currently an option lol

Hi EQ i no u say its not an option yet. But this is realy cheap and i reakon for rooms like mine and urs it would cope just great. The water catchers supprisingly large too.

Sweet as, let me know how it works out for ya.
I've had a quick look online and it appears to work with some sort of "tablet" that I guess is some kind of silica gel type doodah, so it doesn't require batteries etc.
the tablets last for 'up to' 3 months and the refills are around a fiver for a 2 pack.

If this shit actually works it could be a most prudent purchase.

It'll all come out in the wash i guess.

I will do. My room is packed now with bushy ladies. Rh is 60% after watering dropping to 40% 2 days later for next watering id like it to be under 50 all the time now so hopefully it works. A good green clean should help bring it down too..... sphnx ya like that? Green clean al the way bro haha

Is there some sort of trick to the molasses? cos it was stone cold when it hit the equally icy water and fell to the bottom like a stone snake as i squeezed it out of my syringe; the syring suffered also and was clogged to buggery until i poured a kettle of boiling water through it.


Been standing mixing with a lump of wood for like 20 minutes and it's making no effort to make friends with the rest of the molecules in the bucket, the antisocial bastard lol

It mixes easy in my gallon mixing jug. I just put it in with a small amount of water, and give it a good shake.

I used to use a 1 litre jug half full with kettle water. Drop it in quick stir then strate into the gallon or watever of cold water

Day 50

Ok, I think i might be fucked here... Before I press on with the details I want to post some pictures of Kimberley.
Kimberley is the tallest plant and somewhere in this thread I had previously remarked that she might be a secret male.

Can I get a second opinion on these?

Clearly something bollock-esque going on there and, worryingly, one of them is open. I have not, however, found anything pollen-like on any of the leaves directly below, not even a light dusting. I removed one of these to taste it and see if it's powdery but it's not, it's juicy.

As soon as anyone confirms my fears, I shall place this plant in a green bag, tie it off and pop it in with the compost.

Anyway, on with the rest.

Feed: 64mls Canna A, 64mls Canna B, 1ml Molly & 6ml CalMag into 16litres of water; pH was a very nice yellow (on my chart, yellow is good)

The growth lately has been great, even Joanne has started coming out of her shell.
Tonight I followed in the footsteps of several of the great growers here and performed a 'Green Clean'.
I have removed any and all leaves that are either covering bud sites or just excessively touching each other (in the case of the latter, only one of any two touching leaves needed to be removed)
All the lower leaves were left intact as these are only covering the pots and the floor; so I figured I'd keep em around.

Here's another shot of Kimberley, so that you can get an idea of just how much taller she is (lanky larry could hide behind her)

As far as the breeding goes; Lemon Kush has still yet to do... Anything at all. I've done test rotations and she is no longer even making any attempt to move toward the light. Fuck that then.

Blue Dream is progressing and I wanted to ask just how big (in millimetres) these testicles should get before they're done, as it appears one or two are 'open' - though no pollen seems to have been ejected.

Obviously this could be just some kind of 'onion skinning' type thing and is entirely normal behaviour, but this is my first time so I'm unsure how they should look.

I've torn off the three balls (i know, odd number, #4 is probably in the post) and I'm going to keep an eye on it.

I really hope it hasn't pollinated anything :/

It's done. moved. now I've got three plants all huddled under a relatively small grow light.
I have a coupla spare bulbs but no fittings to place them in lol

Still not sure about that open one, kinda worries me somewhat, though it wasn't dusty...
