Emmie's Berry D'licious 2019 True Living Organic: No AACT, SCROG, COB, SuperSoil Production Grow & Seed Run

Ahoy Emilya,
I have began poking around your place and all sorts of questions and ideas are blooming. I won't bother you for a while, but wanted too say hello and let you know my experimental fascination and your hobbitual gardening are going to play. :)
Avast ye duffers, Maritimer is on deck!
I welcome the future interaction my friend, and I will make sure to have cleaned my glasses so as to be ready for all your scientific and very precise words... many times I have to read your work several times before it all sinks in. I am ready... the decks are swabbed and I am steeled for anything you might wish to present, professor.

@Old Salt will translate that for me. Aye!

One of our fine members some time ago explained a process called backbuilding... as opposed to top building, the normal operation of a bud as it grows. We shave off just a tiny bit of the top of the bud... just a little backbuilding cut that takes a few of the top pistils and just a tiny portion of green... you are simulating a deer coming along and nibbling off the tip top of the bud at week 5. The plant's response to this intrusion is to stop top building that bud, and instead it backbuilds, becoming chunky instead of tall.
I need to remember that Thank You

No problem...

Hey you stupid, old, incompetent idiots. Pay attention! Maritimer has arrived!

Emilya wasn't talking about me, or was she?

:hmmmm::hmmmm::hmmmm: I'll need to think about that :hmmmm::hmmmm::hmmmm:

100% accurate. All hands, we stand at general quarters awaiting the muster on the quarterdeck for our MWR officer's presentation.

What???

You're holding the presentation on the quarterdeck, in the rain and snow???

My old bones won't like that, nor will the electric projectors and amplifiers.

Let's see if we can use the wardroom, or CPO's mess. They're warm, and since we're alongside we can have a drink or two to help the words flow more easily. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Since I served as a volunteer bartender while in port, I'll man the bar. What'll you have? Rum, rye, whiskey, panty remover (gin), beer, or wine? If you'd like, I can even mix up a batch of Moose Milk.

lol... bright skies and sunshine where I am at, but wise words none the less, and I will have a Jameson, neat. Make it a triple.

I had already been interested in your methods as I mentioned. During my study two days ago, I began coming across some connections in the pathways and our coming together is now almost inevitable. Just sayin!

:) Jasmonates regulate beneficial plant–microbe interactions, such as interactions with plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. Jasmonate signaling does not work alone while mediating defense responses in plants but it functions in multifarious crosstalk network with other phytohormone signaling pathways such as auxin, gibberellic acid (GA), and salicylic acid.

Very interesting, and I agree that it was fate that in a multifarious crosstalk network like what we have here, it was just a matter of time before we crossed paths. I think on my next watering I will give my plants an aspirin.

LMAO
Well said my friend.

the circadian clock is not a geared time piece that can or should be shifted hastily
imagine a young girl turning into a young woman
it can happen quickly, but should it
i love it m

Lights are now at 10% less wattage than the maximum setting that we have been on all through bloom. It is the first full day now that has been 1/2 hour shorter. Already one more leaf is turning colors. I also immediately saw the effect of water only... no Terpinator... immediate cannibalizing of some mid level fans started in response... the buds must have their potassium! Just another reminder to add potash to the supersoil mix.
:meatballs:

Trichome shot! From a 9.3 gram test bud from M&M. These buds are getting heavier... I was shooting for a little 5 gram bud and got more than I thought.
She is in the quick dry process now. The trichomes are definitely getting longer, and on some of the leaves lower down, I am starting to spot a random amber. On the top caylyxes as shown here, they are still mostly cloudy, with a few still clear.

How did you get the micro shot that well lit?? That’s really hard to do.
shucks, it weren't nothin...
The only light other than room light was the 8 LEDs in the microscope. Instead of using the stand I laid both the microscope and the bud on the desk and then moved the bud around until a good shot came into focus. That was probably cheating somehow, but I have never been one to stay inside of the box.
