Emmie's Berry D'licious 2019 True Living Organic: No AACT, SCROG, COB, SuperSoil Production Grow & Seed Run

I like looking at older journals so I can see the outcome lol but when there gets to b thousands of posts I tend to skip it lol whick is dumb cause I’m sure there is so much good info in them they r just to long lol

I had a slow day at work and read through your journal from start to finish. First time I’ve done that...actually the 2nd time, 1st time was your MC journal. And I can’t wait for your new one. I’ve learned more from just those 2 then combing the internet. So thank you, again.
Thank you. That means more to me than you know. I am overjoyed that you are getting so much out of my work... that is of course, why I did it... not just so that others could learn, but so I could go back and remind myself what I said every now and then.

I agree though... there is only so much time in the day to dedicate to reading. This also why I don't participate in the fast moving social threads, where 10's of people are conversing back and forth every day, or the perpetual journals, that go on forever and forever.. until of course, they don't. Egads. In and out. I state my purpose, my goals, and I go for it... trying for at least one post per day. That is an average of 120 posts, with an average of 6 responses to each of them, resulting in a grow journal of around 750 messages, or so. I am glad you like what I do. Thank you!

Checked on the progress of the giant October bushes I was telling you about. Grows them in straight up chicken shxt, never seen a brown leaf on them. Couple of autos in there too...hope you had a great 4th.

I walked out to the back yard to check on our Auto's this morning before I left for work. The 4th one still has not shown up, so that seed probably was not viable. I had a nice picture on my memory stick ready to send from work this morning, but I forgot to put it in my purse before I left.
I will take a shot this afternoon when I return and we will see how big the first leaves have gotten in the clear sunlit day. In their first day in the sun they had gotten a very nice shade of green to them, and the first leaves were coming in very nicely.

How long before harvest did you do the drywall screw....or do at a certain point and watch trichomes?
I wait until I see 2-5% amber in the very top calyxes of the top buds. When I see this, I put the screw in and place the plants in the dark for 36 hours to complete the finishing out process. Before this, about a week or two before, I have been reducing the intensity and the daytime period of the lights and I have been reducing the temperature in the grow room.

Ms. M&M, 36 hour darkness report:
This is the exciting plant in the room. This one not only had the Andesite, but she also has @Vulx. This one was the runt going into bloom, but I think she will end up being one of the biggest producers in the room. The trichomes are clearly much more dense on this plant and they are also noticeably longer. If it all comes down to there being more trichome weight, this one is going to be the winner. Here is our 19 gram test bud.

What did you take the trichome pics with?

I have one of those too, but your pictures are a lot clearer than mine. Do you use a stand of some sort?
Most of the time, no... it is just handheld with one hand with the other hand snapping a lot of pics with the cell phone. What you see here is the best of probably 15 shots... most of them blurry.

Emilya good morning. I have been looking at your threads and find them most rewarding. Correct me if I am wrong, when you were using the Botanicare trio what type of media were you using and what was your feeding schedule. I am in my first week of veg. I am using Pro mix and botanicare trio. I feel i should purchase some cal/mag what do you think. All comments are welcomed.

Hi @Gardener022! I have never used the Botanicare Trio... sorry... I don't know anything about it or its feeding schedule. As far as calmag goes, everyone should have some calmag on hand in case they need it later on in the grow. I would not give it until I saw a need, but it is good to have on hand in case a deficiency shows up.
