Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue. I will forward your message over to our breeders to look into. I have not heard of our Critical Purple Auto having any issues like this before. I do not believe we sent the wrong seeds as we hand pack every order and every strain is separately stored. At this point you may either wait it out and see if it starts flowering soon, or decrease the light cycle to see if it triggers the flowering stage.

Please keep us updated on the plant's progress and let me know if there's anything we can do for you.

Their advice - wait to see if it starts flowering soon or decrease the light cycle, I assume to 12/12, to trigger flower. Well, that sucks. 1. The plant is already too big for my grow space. If I just let it grow to wait and see if it flowers soon it will only become massive. Not what I want. 2. What makes them think I can run a 12/12 schedule?! I have other plants in the grow area that can not be or I don't want under 12/12. Plus where I live I simply can't run a 12/12 ATM. I mean, I bought autos for a reason right. It may not seem like a big deal but it is a nuicense in many ways. Ugh

Ladies are looking nice! The NL cola looks like she'll make some nice smoke. I'm surprised you can get that much growth with your setup. Getting experience is what beginning is all about. One piece of advice - From Doc Bud - nothing can make up for an imperfect environment, in plant growth. Looking good!

I would send them what you just said in a response to their email. That's not a satisfactory response by them in my opinion.

I must say the companies (Growers Choice Seeds) customer service is good. They reply to emails rather quickly. After I explained the situation further they decided that they will send me new replacement seeds. I'll let you all know how it turns out. Thanks for the support guys!

Good day everyone! El Cheapo here with another journal entry. Well, I took the light fixture apart a couple of days ago and totally rebuilt it. 8 more sockets were added and the fixture now covers a larger area. I still need to work on getting some stronger bulbs as I'm using 4-5 13 watt bulbs ATM but overall things are coming along quite well. I also pulled out an old medicine cabinet I had packed away in storage and have begun to use it to bounce stray light back towards the plant. It's kinda neat because it has 2 side panels that open and shut, allowing me to control the direction I want the light to go. As for the plants, let's check them out...

NORTHERN LIGHTS DAY 75
She's doing pretty well. All that I have done to her over the last 2 weeks is remove some large fan leaves that were blocking flowers. I did this over a period of 2 days about a week ago. Slowly but surely her buds are starting to fill in. I'll probably give her another week or so before really thinking about harvest. The buds are nothing massive but I'm expecting a nice little pile in the end. Not bad for going from nothing to something.

Well, she hasn't begun flowering yet. Shoutout to Growers Choice Seeds for helping me out and sending me replacement seeds. I did receive the seeds in the mail a few days ago and I thank them for that. A buddy of mine has offered to take the plant in order to try and trigger her into flower. I'm afraid the plant is going to die soon so I cleaned her up a few minutes ago and will soon get her to her new (temporary) home. Here's how she looks before and after crazy cleanup.

Yeah, More than something from nothing. She looks very nice considering all the circumstances!.. Also proves the phrase - Where there's a will, there's a way.

Good day everyone! El Cheapo here with another journal entry. Its been a minute since I last posted so let's get right into it.

The Critical Purple has begun flowering!!! A couple days after my last entry I brought the plant to my buddies house to see if he could get it to flower. He started with 12/12 then moved to 14dark/10. It took a while but about 3 days ago I heard she started flowering. I got her back last night and though its early she sure has begun flowering. I'm a bit worried about light schedule here as it will be roughly 16/8. Hopefully all goes well though... The Northern Lights and Trauma Patient are also doing well. I also built a little drying station for when its harvest time. Check out the images below

NOTE: I was one sentence away from completing a long post then lost everything except what's above. I can't redo whole post again. I'll post some pics for now and if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. Have a wonderful evening!

Northern Lights looks good enough to smoke! Very nice!

I'm guessing you know about flowering. Lights at 12 on - 12 off (flip the switch) starts the flowering process indoors. Takes about 2 weeks for pistils to shoot out. Autos are different. Don't need a long night (12/12) to flower.

Glad to see you're still growing and doing very fine. Nothing like growing your own!! LAter

I'm about to harvest the NL within the next couple days, I think. What's your opinion on all the theories about getting the plant to produce more trichomes? I've read quite a bit online and nothing seems to proven except low humidity. Do you do anything to try and gain more trichs? I've read about letting the soil dry, nail through stem, ice water, super cropping, extended period of darkness, uvb rays... I have put the plant in direct sunlight for 4 hours each of the past 2 days so I'm hoping that's working. Let me know what you think please. Thanks!
