Ed's Auto & Photoperiod Mother Tent V2

Letting her go so long, many of her fan leaves yellowed over and/or dried up, making trimming a relative breeze.

Nice color, density and stickiness to the buds but they're not as fragrant as the previous CMA batch.

She filled two and a half drying trays :cheesygrinsmiley: which have been averaging about 60 grams a tray :yummy:

:cheesygrinsmiley: Fingers crossed for another 150 grams :slide:

@copperrein - I am hoping you will share your outdoor grow experiences?

This is Queen Wilhelmina Wappa out in the VA sunshine. She is flowering, but her buds are not as dense as inside grows. Is that normal? Also, she is now growing stress leaves, is that normal?

I was thinking she may have gotten stressed?

What are you feeding and watering? If it were my plant I'd feed her something geared for flower, but not too much. I'm really not great at growing in soil. I just overdo it on washed coco (has lignin which is beneficial to maintaining microbes) and mycos (the microbes) so the bacteria I think keep my alkaline water and hot soil from killing my ladies.

She looks underfed and over watered to me but please get a second opinion since I've never seen exactly what your photo shows. I don't want to mess up your plant, Ed :green_heart:

How many colas are there? I can kinda see two?

Thanks guys more info here - it is a photo period feminized hybrid WAPPA

Consensus seems to be re-vegging, out too early - Operator Error.

It is re vegging up top, so we cut off the older bottom half buds. That was a chore, there were quite a few :cheesygrinsmiley: we naturally saved them, they are as dank as you know what. We wound up with a 5 gallon bucket about half full and I think she has plenty of green left to recover.

thanks!

looks like I re-vegged the poor dears with confusing light schedules:

Feb 15 through Apr 16 - 24 hrs
Apr 17 - June 22 - increasing daily, 12-15
June 23 - Present - decreasing daily <15

Operator Error

The good news an early harvest of tiny half buds and hopefully a full harvest at the end of the season. We have many clones of Big Wil doing just fine both out and in.

Lesson learned for next outdoor season.

Ohhh, how long have they been out of reveg?

Update:

The sole Canuk Critical Mass Auto clone from True North Seed Bank is nearing it's time. Wappa clones continue to thrive and beget more Wappa clones, hopefully into the foreseeable future. So far so good.

Hopefully a number of steps will improve results in the dome. Cleaning the humidity dome between uses, changing the water every 5 days when in use, switching to FOOP clone dip, and adjusting all humidity dome water to precisely 6.0 pH. Fingers crossed for 4 Wappa clones there now.

I was hoping to introduce my last Grandaddy Bruce Fem into the 24/7 tent but she never germinated. I actually bought more way back in May, which causes me to approach an unwelcome topic. US customers must beware of costly exceptions to True North's "Guaranteed Delivery Insurance". Ones shipment and payment are lost if, as in my case, no proof of NON DELIVERY is produced by Postal Authorities. Not good. Today I moved germinated HGC Gelato PP and Barney's Purple Punch Auto seeds into the humidity dome too :cheesygrinsmiley:

I am hoping US based Homegrown Cannabis will not encounter this issue, and await Bruce Banner Feminized seeds to start up a new strain.

I noticed a big variation in scent between my first CMA grow, and this second CMA grow. :thedoubletake:

#1 was extremely fragrant with a beautiful lemony scent. That batch has cured, retains it's lemony scent and is a real 'keeper'.

Both mother and clone #2 are not nearly as fragrant and much less sticky. One is still curing and one is still growing so no data yet on smokability.

My lights, soil, ferts and seed source are all the identical so I am trying to figure out the variation. The only thing I can think of is variation of the strain?

:nomo:

It's been a great run for Queen Mother Wilhelmina Wappa and her offspring. I'm not sure how long I can keep a good thing going, but I intend to find out. The last group of clone attempts are not looking very good. I switched to FOOP and I see no root growth yet. Fingers crossed.

Some more bad luck with a Barney's Purple Punch Auto bean that germinated but failed to sprout. Ditto on a Gelato Fem from Homegrown. :sorry: This brings Barney's germination rate to only 50% with 1 of 5 beans remaining.

Today, a second germinated Barney's PPA bean was put under the dome. I hope I can get a couple of clones off her. Also germinated and placed in the dome a Bruce Banner Fem from Homegrown for a new, second mother.
