A watering system is something I need to get for my tent. It kills my knees and back getting in there and watering. When I do maybe I can pick your brain a bit Dutch.

Hay Dutch sense you are the one that got me interested in @Budget LED I would like to say a few words about them here. I have received the Best costumer service I have Ever had from Budget LED. Justin made sure I got the light that will work best for my set up. I ordered the light late Saturday. They added an 8 foot extension cord to put the driver outside the tent at No extra cost and had my light out by 7:30am Monday morning and I will be receiving the light today. I couldn't ask for better costumer service. If anyone is in the market for a new light check them out they use the best quality parts at a much cheaper cost then the competition as well as the best service you will find from any company. Thanks Budget LED.

Auto Watering System

What’s up everyone! As I’m sure you can tell....this update is all about the auto watering system! Ive had lots of questions about it and how it all works. I figured why not make a post to make things easy for everyone!
So to start we need some parts and materials. I’ve put together a list of what I have used for my setup.
-Reservoir of choice for your setup!
*I am using a 20L to keep my waste minimal and makes cleaning easier. I empty,!wash and redo my reservoir each week to keep it in optimal shape and adjust my MegaCrop levels through the flowering stage
-800GPH pump for sending nutrients to the main manifold
-400GPH pump for mixing the reservoir
-1/2” Black irrigation tubing
-1/4” Black irrigation tubing
-1/4” barbed “tees”
-8 to 12 port manifold for water diversion
*Mine is a 12x port but I’m only using 9x and capped off the extra 3
-Seconds timer for accurate control
-“The Green Rings”

I ordered all of mine online and they are called “matrix” collars. The green drip rings in the middle of them are called “matrix circulators”. If your interested in the exact company name shoot me a message and I’ll be happy to help you source them!
After you have everything together it’s time to get it all setup and running.
In my reservoir I attached a barbed 1/2” TEE off of my 400GPH mixing pump. This was to branch 2 segments of 1/2” hose to direct flow and help with keeping the reservoir mixed well.
The 800GPH feed pump pushes the mixed nutrient water into my tent through the 1/2” black irrigation tubing. This connects to the main manifold where it is then divided out to each individual pot. My manifold is a 12 outlet but I am only using 9 ports from it for my setup. (You could use more or less depending on what your after)
1 1/4” line for each plant/pot which I then use a 1/4” barbed TEE to split at the base of the plant and attach to the matrix circulators. These then insert into the matrix collars.
The purpose of the collars is to spread the nutrients/water evenly across the pots for even watering. Now in order to control these pumps I purchased a 2x outlet “seconds” timer.
This allows me to accurately dose my feed cycles down to the second. I have it set up to feed every other day for 3m25s in the morning 30minutes after my lights turn on! My girls wake up and then get a healthy dose of water and nutrients to kick start their day. The 400GPH mixing pump I have turn on 2hrs before the feed cycle starts to make sure the reservoir is mixed up well which is important. From there it’s just a matter of filling your reservoir each week or few days with your nutrient solution and giving it a good clean each at the end of the week! I change the water and nutrient strength each week so It makes things easier having a smaller reservoir!
So far I’ve got nothing but good things to say about this garden upgrade! It has made my feedings accurate, more regular and the most important part... it’s easier than hand watering!
** Important Tip**
Wash and clean your reservoir weekly! A clean reservoir will make your life so much easier and help to maintain a healthy strong and happy garden!Well I’m pretty sure that covers it all but if I did miss anything and you have any questions just ask! All caught up Dutch all your plants are beautiful especially those stunners in the 4x4 love the colours coming out in the purple punch and the frost on the gg4 is incredible.
Really enjoyed the drip system tutorial may have to look into that one of these days anything to make this hobby easier I'm all for.
