Dutch Treat Smoke Report​

Opening the jar I get hit with a strong sweet creamy smell followed by citrus. The nugs are a little airy but packed with trichromes. First toke I get the taste of eucalyptus with a hint of citrus. This hit gave me a very good tingling in the face and head.

A second hit and I'm feeling energetic and ready to go. Not anxious just in a zone to get some things accomplished. After a couple hours I'm feeling cloudy and ready for nap.

haha grape funky skunk huh? sounds like a winner to me man lol. that will be a fun grow to follow.

not too happy with the LED so far? i've never tried but i always hear their really good.

I wouldn't say I'm not happy, just a few things need to get worked out. I will take a few picks so you can see how low these things hang. Kyle told me they need a least 4" of air space on top but they give cables that allow about 20" if not more.

So far I'm not seeing a lot of stretching or any negative signs from its use. I should add I only have the first switch on right now after a week I will turn the other switch on as well.

Things are looking GREAT HMG! I wouldn't worry about those temps to much as I am about where you are at when lights are out and my plants are looking just GREAT!

Things are looking GREAT HMG! I wouldn't worry about those temps to much as I am about where you are at when lights are out and my plants are looking just GREAT!

Thanks A1, I would like to get the lights on temp up to 72 to 75 degrees. I've always had my lights off temp at 64 to 66 degrees no problem.

My Dutch Treat is not a wake n bake for me yeah I can get shit done but the come down is a little to hard for my liking.

Loving these hempy grows! Once i move into my new place, i will definitely implement 2L hemp grows for perpetual harvest! I tried to do it while i was still in my current home before the lease ended but my clones never made it, instead i got a big ass flowering mother lol

I really like the hempy buckets I'm trying my hand at coco again to see how I can do. I still have some hempy plants going right now and always will. I'll have to check out your big mamma.

Here is how I have my light set up so you can get a good look at how these hang for anyone considering a LED and you have limited hieght.

From the support pole the light hangs from to the bottom of the LED is 16". I think that Advanced should look into seeing if these cables could be shortened to about 5" and you would have plenty of space for air movement for the light.

This leaves me 27" between lights and the top of the containers with about 16 inches to move the plants down.

Here you can see a couple different areas being monitored for temp and humidity.

And a shot with just the first switch on.

How do LEDs compare to HPS bulbs? Like that leds compares to what W bulb? Unless thats not how they compare

I'm not 100% sure but I have read that you could probably use about 2/3's the power with LED's. This is new to me so I will now a little more once I get some flowered out.

I used a 400W HPS in this tent so I will be able to compare a little, not with the same strain but it should give me a good enough comparison for my use.

I too will be basing much of my future growing expansion on this grow journal and your experiences. That's the great thing about this I hope these LEDS are bomb. However, I need to see some reliable results. Your grows are killer so I'm sure you will get it done.

I too will be basing much of my future growing expansion on this grow journal and your experiences. That's the great thing about this I hope these LEDS are bomb. However, I need to see some reliable results. Your grows are killer so I'm sure you will get it done.

My thoughts exactly, I have been thinking of using an LED for Veg only and then HPS in my flower room, CFL in the clone room.

New clones added. I was having problems with the aero cloner I built, this could have been because of lower temps or lack of humidity in my growing area. So I decided I would give Rapid Rooters and Clonex a try, as well as moving my clones to a different area. So far 4/6 have roots and been transplanted.

These 4 have taken about 10 to 14 days to root so far this will work just fine for my needs.

The Lemon Lazerlites and La Diva Auto seeds seem to be doing fine. Today is day 21 since they broke the surface. The auto may be a couple days behind the LL. I put a heater in the grow area today to see if I can get these temps up a little during the lights on time. This LED has raised the ambient temperature of the tent by 2 degrees.

I think the purple stems of the mystery clones is a reaction to the lowers temps.

Those all look great! What are you're temps right now - Still mid 60's to higher 70's?
