Dutch Dragons Cheesy 2'x2' 250 HPS - Organic Soil Journal

Good fine Day to you, My fellow Welshman! I say that, I'm only half welsh really, but I've always called myself welsh as that the side of my family I got on with when I was young. Your scrogg is a work of patience and understanding, to change strains each time is to chase that ever elusive thing, of a true understanding of ones plants.
Your scrog reminds me of that little spot known as the devils cauldron in Snowdonia. A sheltered little spot, high in he mountains. May your buds look as shining white and Dewey as Snowdons peaked white cap through winter.

LA, your posts rock man. Always beautifully written and they just make me feel good. Devils Cauldron is truly a beautiful piece of landscape, simply stunning. I miss the mountains and valleys of Wales with Holland being so flat. My car certainly lasts a lot longer here though, I used to go through a clutch every year in Wales:). I do different strains every time as an attempt at finding suitable strains that work good in a scrog setup, in time I hope to have quite a database of journals and information that may help future growers make good decisions as to what will work well in a setup like mine, under a screen. Its why we all do journals, in the hope that it will someday help somebody such as ourselves.
aztecbuds, thank you for your kind words and the same wishes for your own grow my friend.

Hi wildrosebud,
Sadly since the last pics above they have taken a turn for the worst. The big one much appreciated the feed and the back left one was not to badly affected, but the little one and the one with the yellowing in the photo are suffering quite badly. They lost their green colour and have the burning quite badly. I will post some pics later as I will be out of the country for the next week and I need some prayers and green vibes for the girls. Plus I'm leaving wifey in charge of the scrog for a week and she is a serial plant killer. Fingers crossed. Lights on in about an hour, I'll get a few photos up then. Since I flushed them last week they have not taken up much water. I'm a bit worried they are gonna be over watered after sitting in the same water for a week. Gonna get smart pots next grow I think, they would have dried out better if they were not in plastic. I'm gonna hope for the best and console myself that the other 2 don't look so bad.
Now everybody take note. Go easy on the feed if you grow CHEESE.

Hello everyone, its a day early but here goes the weekly update. It is a sorry sight in the cab at the moment. My son asked me why I looked so down and I told him daddies plants are sick and it is all daddies fault,"dont worry daddy, you will do better next time":). Here comes my excuse for being so stupid:). The batmix I use is very hot and usually works well for about 6 weeks before the girls start showing me they need a feed, but I saw them the day I fed them and the yellowing was telling me they needed a feed. Common sense should have said 'no dutch its only week 4', but my common sense had unfortunately deserted me on that occasion. I have since read in a journal on the greenhouse seeds website that the greenhouse cheese can show yellowing if over fertilized. So, what with them already suffering with the hot soil and then me nuking them with more feed, they are lucky to have lasted this long. I need everybodies help here, if you could say a prayer for them or send green vibes to my girls maybe they will zen heal and be all green and chipper for when I come back from the UK.

On the brink of compost heap.

Have a good weekend everyone and I'll be back next Friday. If I can get my hands on a computer I'll be looking in on 420 world while I'm away, if not I'll haveto go cold turkey.
Shit, I'm also not planning on smuggling any meds with me.
Wish me luck everyone and until next week.

May the magnificent Dutch dragon on returning to his homeland be able to stretch out his great wings. Taking flight through the mountain tops soaring up on high. Now the link between a dragon and his treasure is an ancient and mystical one. So as our mighty dragon fly's over his homeland, not only is his soul recharged but so it is also for his beloved treasure.
So I hope your girls will be fine!

Eloquent as always LA!

Hello fellow 420ers, I'm back, and its time for the old weekly update. It is a sorry site I'm afraid, but I'm consoling myself by thinking more about the next run, which I will start in a week or two. This will give me a perpetual flowering room. I'll make a cardboard veg room and use the blue cfl's and the led ufo as veg lighting. Wont be a yield for the record books from this grow I'm afraid, but I'll just have to put it down to experience and take it on the chin. Here they are.
