Duggan Does Purple Envy, Star Pupil & Black Cherry Punch With Doc's Gear!

Just wanted to show these two pics of the Purple Envy at birth and how she looks now. Do ya's all remember me sayin she would 'catch up'! Well, just look at her FFS ,..she not only caught up to the BCP's....she has had to be SC'd every day , almost , just to keep her under control. Most vigorous strain i've grown , other than that miserable Desfran! pouple pics .

Looking as awesome as I’ve come to expect and enjoy Duggan :yummy::Love:

I love seeing how the purple envy appeared to be the runt and is now the front runner, overtaking and taking over!

So, hey...
under growth is well pruned and thinned out. Wanted (always) to save as many tops as possible and train , train, train. It looks like all the SCing and training will pay off ,

... any pictures of that trained and trimmed understory to share? Amy wants the .education!

:Namaste:

...Evenin' Duggs!...looking good, as usual...I've got one of those P E's in soil now, as well as a bunch of others,,,hope Mare is recovering nicely...give her some TLC...I was telling Woody the other day...scars are just tattoo's with a better story!...;)...have a good one...cheerz...h00k...:rollit:

I like that tatoo coment...i'm sure Mare will appreciate it , thanks for that Hook!! Oh boy, u gotta PE in dirt....watch out for her , they are extremely vigorous , as u can see by mine. She has literally overtaken the SP and is a lil bigger and taller than the two BCP's....ya that's right...one PE is taking up more space than the two BCP's...wtf eh. Anyhow enjoy the day bud!

Beautiful looking garden Mr. Duggan. Going to be some good meds for ya once they finish. Keep em green.
Thanks Derbs , and good morning to ya sir. Thanks for droppin by sir! Enjoy the day ...hoping it doesn't rain.... Cheers eh!

Good morning again gang. All these pics are for Amy and others interested how i get my low , full bushes .
Amy,...first thing is i top while they are in the #1's, at the third , fourth or fifth inter-node (depending on height). After they get into the big pots and after the topping has four , or more tops shooting , that's when i use the 'tie down' method to encourage inside , lower growth to thrive and 'fill in' the middle some. Continue doing this until desired shape and size is reached , all the while Supercropping the runaway leaders which encourages even more growth and lets smaller , less vigorous branches to 'catch up' if you will. All this training allows me/us to achieve a much longer veg. state cuz of keeping them low and wide. stay right with any tops that wanna take off on their own...DON'T let them getaway, SC them right away about 1-3 inches down from it's 'apex' NOT too far down....that will slow the branch down too much and it may not fully recover and will lag behind , which is not good either. We want ALL the tops at the same height when we flip. This makes it much easier to control those runaway leaders later on in bloom OK.
U can see some SCing examples in this pic group.
So for SCing it's all about doing it on a 'green' , fresh top , close to it's apex. i just squeeze really hard between thumb and forefinger until i feel the internal membrane break...you can feel it snap...then i gently lay the tip over at a 90 degree angle....no more OK, just wanna slow her down a few days. This action really encourages side branching and 'thickening up' if you will. After bloom has been initiated we only have a couple weeks to continue training as the branches start to get really strong and tuff, which makes it very hard to SC effectively,...this is why we have to have things perfect when we flip...makes it much easier to control height and the canopy level. Hope this has helped some Amy. These pics were from a few different journals...enjoy...cheers to ya woman!:ganjamon:
Woops ...a couple of my treehouse pics in there too....

Hey woman,...took me long enough eh...here,..try this...:passitleft:..so glad to share that LST stuff. I am very bad for assuming things some times , and need a kick like that to let others in on it. Have been very busy as well. Realized , ever since the new platform arrived, my link to the BH tut , only took people to that journal. Teddy asked if i could locate it for him and he would repair that,...i did, took a while ,duhh, forgot where it was. Not only that, there is another tut similar to that one , in another journal, as well. Have no idea where it is....:ganjamon: Anyhow, your welcome Amy. Enjoy the night would ya...:rollit:

Gang, top of the day to ya'l,....just a little warm eh....lovin it,..just need some white sand, palm trees, great cannabis, great food,...and of course , cool people. Sounds like another canoe trip.......:circle-of-love:......

Plants are loving life and bloom is...not quite yet, maybe tomorrow..:surf:
This PE is crazy...she should be outside...in a raised bed...in about 200 gal's. of DBHBB soil...:slide:
Got watch the first game tonight,..Mare's comin over, (has 3 weeks off), to watch the game.
