Duggan Does Purple Envy, Star Pupil & Black Cherry Punch With Doc's Gear!

I dig the refined ride and sheer performance those car have grey and Ottawa. I have a 2000 e320 4matic that I keep cherry. It not a performance car, but last year I serviced/ replaced every wear item in the front end, and new hydraulic motor mounts, and it is so plush now at speed. Appreciate the Euro’s.

There’s still something from the past that tugs my strings when it comes to old school iron muscle...I mean they are part of my childhood...

Ya....plants are rockin...i'm really liking the structure and very pleased .The canopy is not as even and level as i like but this PE just took over.

Thanks bud....yes, some very challenging moments around her .....weight gain is over the top...really getting to her.Shes gaining loads of weight but is not eating any more than she was before....very worrisome cuz it wont stop.

Yeah that weight thing is a touchy subject for the ladies. A positive mindset is key for her but its tough when her levels are all wacky. I know that Ms Stank can tell quickly when her thyroid levels are off. Its not a pleasant situation at all for the ladies we love.
 
Duggan, how soon before she can get her meds evaluated and adjusted? I hope that's not another case of waiting for the system ...

How long does it take to get the dose balanced right, Stank?
 
Can take a while. Then god forbid if they change your thyroid meds it can restart everything. They changed Ms Stank to a synthetic thyroid med a while back. She doesn't like it and can tell its off even though her "levels" are "fine". She can tell the difference in real thyroid meds and synthetics.
 
And then it isn't even just the dose......its the actual kind of med as well. One might work for Ms Stank but the Mare's body might not react well. The bad thing is you have to let the treatment go its course before you know. So you can spend a couple months to find out "Nope, not the right kind. Lets switch you to this and try it. You know the drill, start taking these today and we will see you back here in a couple months unless you have any adverse reaction". So then they get to start over on a new course of treatment. Not fun at all for them. Its why I preached patience to Duggs on this. It can take a while and can wear down both people in the relationship.....poor Mare cause she is going through it and then Duggs because he is a guy and guys want to fix things and there is no fixing it and you sit there idly and watch them struggle and aren't acting themselves. I know I hate feeling powerless to help Ms Stank when she is off.

All we can do is realize that its not their fault, their internal wiring is off until things get stabilized and be patient and reaffirm that we love em and are there for em. I am a fixer....not doing anything is incredibly tough for me.
 
Yes....u nailed it Van.But u dont understand about the weight gain thing....its not just a few pounds....its pounds and pounds and pounds!!!
She is very sensitive about it and told me some tuff things ....she feels so bad about it cuz......its a lot of weight when she wasn't 'thin' to begin with...so....
Her mood is also a lil unstable and hard to deal with...i get that.....i understand but like u...i want her fixed.....bahhh!
Very frustrating for her cuz of what Gray said about waiting for the system too!!
