Hey Red, not too bad yet. My youngest likes all of me while he's here , so i'm usually bagged when they go home. My oldest likes to spend time in his room with all his screens of sorts ...you know how teenagers are! Now that i'm keeping them again tonight (not too happy about that) Not because i wanna get rid of them...it's more that my X never really appreciates what i do for her and has a habit of quickly forgetting these lil favors i do for her. It happens ALLLLLLLLLLLL the time . If i was to ask something of her (which i very RARELY do) she would say "not my problem" she is an X from hell. anyhow , thanks Red, and have an awesome Sunday OK!
Don't look at your kids staying as helping her out. Look at as more time with them. Maybe she doesn't repay the favor. Who cares. My kids dad does nothing for the kids, and I've learned I can't assume he will want the kids when it's his time. I expect nothing from him, and that's what he does for the kids. None of that matters though. The kids are what matters. Forget the ex, that's why they are exes. It sucks that the other parent won't work with us, but the kids know who is there for them. Believe me.

Canna, sure is nice being able to share this sort of thing on here. You kick sense into me, thank you for that, you are soo correct ,...about just enjoying my kids and forgetting about her. Ya know , she doesn't know how lucky she is to have me, as an ex. She's never once , in five years separated ,had to ask for her cheque ...she gets one every two weeks, and has for 5 yrs. , that's 120 cheques, right. Always do what's expected , very active in their lives, living in this house for them , cuz of school issues , i could go on and on . Not to mention they miss their dad , and that's a hellava lot more than i ever said of my own father.
Anyhow , i should wrap this up and stick to cannabis related stuff........or not........just kidding.

I am a new member but wanted to take the time to say I really appreciate the atmosphere in every journal i sub to and it seems this one is just as awesome as the rest!! see gang,..this is why i love this guy! Hope your day had a nice groove to it bud. I should put this out there now i guess. i'm gonna want to gift out all the SNS stuff to a grower who would use and appreciate it all. it's quite a package of goodies from them , but i honestly want someone else to get it. Duggs I feel you on the issues with the ex and splitting time with kids. I'm in the same boat as you with the whole doing countless favors and not having them repaid. Canna is right tho of course. Putting the kid first and doing your best for them is all that matters even if the ex doesn't appreciate having you there for your kids.
I'm glad to hear you and the boys were not seriously injured bud. Accidents are scarey stuff, always good when the irreplaceable walks away.
