Duggan Does Kosher Kush With DBHBB: 4 Plants, Two Pots, Lots Of LEDs!

Sue, i havn't made any oil yet, i need some good raw mat'l. for that , and the KK is still about 4 weeks out, so....I also have a challenge getting her to make a commitment to take it every day, or night. She doesn't smoke....anything, so how would she administer it? Lots of Q's. Im totally in the dark where CCO and cancer are concerned. She still has to be properly diagnosed , for pete's sake! Anyhow , i'l keep you up to date OK! Have an awesome night would ya girl! and thanks! :hugs:

OK, I understand. You have time Duggan. Damned powerful herb this cannabis we grow. I can help you with making capsules with the oil so she just takes the capsules. It'll be much easier than it feels like it'll be Duggan. I'll do everything possible to make it so. As far as the strain being appropriate, if it's something you need to treat you want THC at 20% or higher. I'm pretty sure you have that part covered. :)

Flowerfarmer's right, the acid cannabinoids in raw plants are potent cancer killers in their own right. Keep this one in mind. The big advantage from the perspective of someone who gets tested for work purposes, the metabolism they check for is derived from THC. If you juice raw you have no THC, consequently no THC-derived metabolite to get picked up in the rediculous pee test. It takes more plant material than you're going to be able to supply, but you might want to consider freezing fan leaves. Over time they can build up and give you the option to include some in the diet. Fresh buds are a rich source of cannabinoids.

Morning everyone...I didn't say "good" because I went with Marilyn this morning for her biopsy results...NOT GOOD!
They didn't get enough of a sample!!!!!!!!! She needs another one!!!!!!!!!!!Waited over a month for these results ....now she has to go thru the wait and another painful biopsy!

I suppose I should stay positive eh.....it's hard! Have a good day Gang!

Stay positive Bro. It will all work out for you guys. Doctors suck sometimes.

Thanks so much Sue, I like your idea of the capsules ...Marilyn will too, i'l mention it tonight when she calls me on her break at 6. I'm going to find out what the CBD /THC ratios are for Kosher Kush...does anyone know that info? Cheers Sue and gang...all you guys are just awesome...cheers to ya's...

Ya , your right , they do, thanks for the "get up " Mp! Cheers.:passitleft:

Duggan,
I took a quick look at a few lab results(3) and got from 1.6 down to 0.39. That is a little on the high side for a strain known for its high.

Do a search for "cannabis testing lab results". Several post results on there web sight. It is a good way to get a better feel for average cannabinoid content.

The KK I had in flower disappointed me the last ten days or so. It looked like it would finish at around 6 oz. or so, but the buds stopped swelling. It finished at 4 oz. of nice heavy smallish buds with some small soft buds for keif, not much trim.

Stay positive,
best

Canyon, thanks for that ,...how did the buzz and taste turn out with the KK. Mine have just gotten over the mid bloom stall, and the last few days they have turned it up some. She's not for quantity , this KK, they tell ya that , up front. They also say , any one who tries her ....well, you know! I'm very interested in those numbers you have there,...but i'm not sure what they are .:hmmmm:
I know right now, looking at my four,....not gonna get what i expect neither. Oh well, i didn't really grow this crop for quantity.....OK OK i did, but , but, i knew it was just, an average yielder. I wanna know what the THC/CBD ratio is. After that i'l get into the specific cannibinoids , and see if i can get a hold of the right strain/s.
If Marilyn is to be taking capsules ,...she doesn't want to be blasted , every time she takes one or two, but i still want it to be very strong, as i can get it/grow/make it. Anyhow , getting close to game time...cheers...oh ya, still no sign of the four "Lilly's". I hope to see them in the next two/three days. Evenin , Canyon and Gang!

Duggan,

After rereading my post, it appears I left a bit out. The samples I looked at had a THC concentration of around 16 to 17 percent and CBD of 0.39 to 1.6 %. So, that would be around 16/1 THC/CBD. This is not a good strain for your wife if she has an aversion to getting high.

This is one or two hit pot for most people who smoke. It has been in jars for three or four days now. I have been smoking a mix of the scraps of the KK plant and some leftover Scott's OG waiting for it to cure some. Any way I tried a bud from the good jar about an hour ago. Three hits and I wandered off to watch some news. Thirty minuets later, two more hits. This is good smoke. The high has you with your eyes wide open and your mind jumping from thought to thought in a good way. This is after spending the day doing maintenance hits most of the day with the low grade blend.

Er, it is 15 or 20 minutes later now, the high has ratcheted up more than I expected. Now I am getting a bit of face tingling and a some ear ringing. It hits like 22, 23% pot or better. There is not really any down side to it that I can come up with. There is no sign of couch lock.

The testing labs do full profiles. So, skimming through some list would give you an idea of individual cannabinoid content of different strains.

Jumping subjects, I saw in some of your pictures that you have grown MK Ultra. Any thoughts? I have two that will probably be going into flower in about two months.

Best to both of you,
canyon

A very good morning to you Canyon, ...and Gang. Thanks for the positives on the KK. Ya, with the MK-Ultra....gotta tell ya C , it's been the best all round plant I have grown in the "Kit". I grew it out five times , I believe, and it rocked every time, very powerful and has a really nice flavor . There were three different pheno's of it that I found....two of em are special with better flavor (OG coming thru) than the other which was just average tasting. I also got more yield with the MK than any other strain that came after in my "Kit" grows. I pulled 25.5 Z's. of one of the MK grow's with only two plants...ya that's right, it's a big yielder and she is a brute, who wants lots of space...if you don't give it to her ...she will push anyone else out of the way to get it! Very strong plant in DBHBB soil (POTM winner for me!) I love the strain, and highly recommend it for our dirt. She grows fast , strong and vigorous with a purpose. I'm kind of surprised more of us are not trying it ...it really is a fantastic strain that WILL NOT disappoint! Cheers C and thanks again for the numbers. I'm going to make some kind of oil from her (KK) so Marilyn will have to take this stuff (capsules prolly) at bed time...WHOOO HOO, nighty night sweetie!! Cheers C and Gang....gotta get to working ....Bahhhh!
Look into Rick Simpson Oil (RSO).
Will do 36G....and thanks pal!:high-five:

Mornin Dugg mate! Hope you and the Mrs are doing good ;)

Hey GL, top of the day to ya....Mare starts work at 3:30 , so she's on her way now . I have the boys this weekend with hockey skills camp for my youngest tonight , so it's busy for this old guy after work. Got a Gourmet Pizza to pick up for the three of us , so I don't have to slave away in the kitchen ...at least tonight anyhow...:thumb:
The KK's have really picked up the trich. production these past few days and with giving the front pot her first CD Thurs. night , I'm a lil anxious to see them tonight. Pistils shooting out like mad....ya !:cheertwo::cheertwo:They still have a few weeks to go so I'm hoping to see some weight come on. Cheers GL...have an awesome weekend all my brothas and sistas. :circle-of-love:

I should prolly clarify a few things when it comes to Marilyn and I. We have been together for 8 yrs, have two kids each, her's are 15 and 18 ...mine are 9 and 15.We live in the same city but across town from each other cuz of our kids going to different schools and stuff. It would be the bees knees if we could live together , we would both be able to breath a lot easier with finances , that's for sure but as things are , we just have to get rid of these kids first...until my lil guy finishes with grade school...another 4/5 yrs. Then we will hopefully be able to buy a little place , just for us...well with room for them too I guess....they never really leave , do they...:wood: Cheers Gang!

Thanks for sharing Duggs. I'm 41 and I have an 18 month old, 15 year old, and a 19 year old. They are never leaving are they? I'm going to have a kid in the house until I'm in my 60's. Have a good weekend with your boys.

Cheers RoorRip
Thanks for that Noob...ya , know how ya feel my brotha. I was 48 yrs. old when my , then wife told me she was preggo with our youngest. With our relationship going south (for a number of yrs.) it was the worst news she could have given me....The baby was not welcome and i knew the next many yrs would be in misery as i was already seeing Marilyn. We stayed together just long enough to get our youngest into school, ...then i bought her out of the family home, she moved across the other side of town with the two boys , then 4 and 10.Those were very , very hard times. I still struggle with money every day , as did my mom and dad their whole life.Thinking about my youngest now....he means the world to me and wouldn't have it any other way . He is much closer to me than his older brother...maybe it's the hockey , dunno, as i've played my whole life and continue to play 'old timers' (entering my 23rd season)
, he picked it up...my oldest did not. He's a swimmer and is ready to take his NLS, i'm so proud of him. He has swam ever since he was three yrs. old and i took him once a week to different courses all those yrs. as his mom stayed home with his lil brother, so we bonded over those times. anyhow , won't bore ya's all any longer...have an awesome day gang!
I'm also the designated chef in my house! I hear ya mate ;) A gourmet pizza would go down real good right now

Ya GL, it sure was tasty bud cheers and have a great day my friend!:high-five:

My son tossed me aside, but the daughter, rock that she is despite her anxiety disorder, took the apartment that shares my balcony. So she has her own place with mom right next door, merely steps away. For the first 7 years that she lived here she came over for dinner almost every day. :laughtwo: No Duggan, they never really move away.

To be fair, I got her the apartment, so the placement was by design. It just worked out much better on her end. :battingeyelashes:

But how was the gourmet pizza? :cheesygrinsmiley: Yuk yuk.:loopy::partyboy:

We didn't have kids, so we pretty much had fun instead but ... now we don't have anyone to impress with all our maturity and experience. I find myself constantly itching to offer help and guidance to young adults - got the grandfather syndrome going on with no grandkids to amuse.

Hey there Gray ...pizza was really good...whenever I get pizza now , I always go to this place called Gourmet Pizza...it's all fresh and can you ever tell the difference! Just wondering Gray....did you decide not to have kids , or was it something beyond your control (as it was with me , hence my youngest taking so long!!) I bet you would have been a fantastic dad my friend....cheers Gray !
