duggan,
Looking great. How tall are your plants now?

I have been torturing mine aggressively.

4/15 Moved to whisky barrel, topped from 35" to 28", 2g water.
4/19 Topped back to 26, spread out top some.
4/21 tied down to 24, 24" canapé diameter, 2 gal warter.
4/22 Tied down to 22", diamiter 24-29.

I am finding some acidic spots with a PH probe now in the 5-6 range. The rest is around PH 7. I am at about three weeks after mixing the soil. Me thinks, it is time for hands off for a while.

I don't have a set way that I grow plants. So don't take what I am doing as any more than what I am doing with this plant. The idea is to keep the roots growing and restrict the above ground growth to where I want it until the trunk and branches gain some bulk. I am not that concerned about how much foliage she has for now.

You know the KK strain but I am not sure if you have grown any. The one I have in flower is my first. When it went into flower it was not a robust plant. However after a few days it really started to show some vigor. The trunk and branches have firmed up and done a lot of growing. The buds are tight now and they have another month to go. It is turning into a nice looking plant.

From this morning.

duggan,

Yes it is a whisky barrel. I grew in them for a little over two years. They act a little like cloth pots or something like what you are using. They breath a little. It has been a while though. They are about 25 gallon, give or take.

The stake is for support latter. The three branch profile was not something I planed.

I should have an evaporateive cooler going Thursday. All the plants are stressed from single digit humidity and heat.

I'm thinking,....they like this DBHBB, third run soil!

they look like they're LOVING it :) :high-five:

Nice even canopy. I'm amazed how big they got so quick! Lovin' the soil for sure. :circle-of-love:

Good morning , and thanks so much gang! These Kosher Kush have been a joy to grow and train. Getting the canopy nice and even is always a goal of mine but as my previous grows show , it's not always this easy. My trick is to not let any tops start running away from the rest , so ya gotta be right on top of it! A little pinch here....a little pinch there(Supercrop), just to maintain an even canopy. It really pays off big time cuz the plants get a chance to mature way more without getting too tall for the room. I see so many growers with nice plants , but they don't train them for indoor cultivation for large yields and when they harvest , it's not much....maybe 2-3 z's. when they could have gotten double that with some LSTing and SCing.
After looking at them again this morning I think I'm gonna flip them in the next few days.....they're just how I like em right now...nice and thick, filling the space ...hopefully they are not big time stretchers and grow evenly after flip....if they don't i'l just continue to pinch the tallest shoots until the stretch stops. Have an awesome Wed. gang!:circle-of-love::Namaste:
