Thats what I mean! I wanna grow a sativa but unless you have PLENTY of room, its just not feasible! Growing in a tent youd have to dedicate the whole tent to one plant and if that plant didnt produce like youre expecting, youre fucked! Not to mention the time that you have to dedicate to it...im not sure I'll ever grow another one

Ya eh Scrubbs....i'm just not liking this grow at all.....now i find out that that back plant is a freekin slow pheno....just fu...n great! NOT!I'm already looking forward to my next grow with the Zamal Hash seeds i got commin from ACE! These 100% Sativas are just too much of a struggle...and now the slow pheno.....fu...k sakes Gang...not impressed with these three seeds giving me this freekin weird pheno!Cheers gang and have an awesome day!

No wonder an industry has been pushing out fast flowering Indica for so long. Id be surprised if I have ever smoked a 100% Sativa before. Hard to give up the space and time when you don't have much available. Maybe Ziggy is on the something with his seed to flower method.

Mornin Snoop....Ya ..it's not the extra couple weeks( it's way more than a couple extra weeks) that piss me off....it's the different pheno's with so much of a difference in completion times!! The front two plants are way ahead of the back one ...like it looks like two to three weeks, but is actually more like four weeks. Not sure what to do????any ideas Gang? I'l post some pics tonight of that back pheno so we can all see how far behind it is. Cheers Gang.

Welcome to the wonderful world of REAL sativa's. Very few have ever smoked one.
Trust me, it's worth it. One thing you can do is go to 11/13 and use Cat Drench all the way through on the slow one.

LOL, loving this thread, Duggs. The bagseed I have going are bigtime sativa and they do NOT like my environment, but they got me off my azz and making changes to the grow tent. Gotta love the learning experience.

duggan, try 10.5/13.5 or even less light...10/14....iMHO i think the long running 16-20+ weeks sativas need shorter light in their tents..some of these landrace finish very late in the year...
i am going to switch my ACE tent to 10/14 now- will help the 2 Purple Hazes and the Golden Tiger finish up... I will place the now outside clones back inside in day or 4

No worries at all about potency and yield going from 12/12 to 11/13 to 10/14? Seems to me you gotta be paying the price somewhere for decreasing energy input, unless you were starting from a state of excess.

I have absolutely no science I know of (haven't looked, to be honest), but what went through my head was the idea that under the diminished time schedule they get more desperate and supercharge the trichomes and terpenes. That appears to be what Ziggy is witnessing. Now, I should be a responsible teacher and actually chase down the science that would back up that very stoned thought.

i grew only from seed 11/13..dont know the yield difference, if any..

Mornin Rascio.... Don't hook up the fan/filter like that! Have the fan suck the smelly dirty air thru the filter then out thru the motor and exhaust hole. The way you have it there ,you are trying to blow the air thru instead of sucking it thru as it should be OK!Know what i mean? The filter should be in the room ....the motor can be outside of it with a short pc. of duct between them if you like ,but the filter has to be in the room ok.Cheers, and have an awesome day Rascio!

Mornin Sue....How was your power walk this mornin girl? Holliday is going ok , i guess. no $$ to really take them anywhere ,so....just hangin around here basically. Last night when i checked in ,on the girls....that back plant doesn't seem to be flowering at all....NOOO new flowers ....what gives with that pheno eh....it stinks...i'm thinking of chopping it...getting it the hell outta there, but , but, but.I'm very dissapointed in it while the front pot is flowering like they should and show new flowers every day! Next run, i've made up my mind to run the Zamal Hash seeds i've got coming from ACE.

She probably has a superior high Duggan. Isn't that always the way? She's already in there doing her best, so why not leave her, at least until you harvest her sisters? You may feel different about her by then. Some girls just need more time.

Ya Neiko....just not sure what to do with her. I know if she is allowed to finish properly she would no doubt be awesome but ,i feel like i got ripped off sort of, ya know. I had no plans to grow a 20-22 week Sativa. The Desfrans are supposed to be 9-10 weeks!!!!!!!!!!What gives...i'm pissed! When the front two finish that one will still have between 5-7 weeks left ,so....if i leave it ,she won't be mature ,so,,just dunno what to do.
Thanks FF....pretty fu...ed up genes ,these Desfrans. Wonder what the breeder would tell me about her eh?
