Duggan Does Bubba Hash & DP's: Lemon Zkittles

Waddaya havin Salty?... :nomo:

I don't know what to call it. Something my mother used to cook. It's layers of mashed potato, sauerkraut, cooked and crumbled ground beef, then sauerkraut, and mashed potato again. Sprinkle the top with bread crumbs, and a bit of butter. Pop into the oven on broil until the bread crumbs turn golden brown.

So, do you know what it's called? I've never seen anyone else serve it.

No, I was born in the Netherlands and grew up in an Ontario farming community largely populated by the Dutch. Mom usually cooked food the Dutch way. She was the cook and housekeeper for the Burgemeester of Utrecht before marrying my father. I am much more familiar with Dutch cuisine than that brought to North America by other nationalities.

Hey gang...im in one of those reminicing moods.
Love watching very old classic songs being sung and played.
For ALL us older peeps out there.
Betcha y'all will like this one.
On the tube....look up Brandy

Elliot Lurie is now 71 and still performing. This vid was a no nonsense recording/video from 1972.
Its one of the reasons music will never be that good again....its got soul man....Some real guts....goosebumps song all the way. Just takes me way back listening to the lyrics...like they say..."they dont make em like that anymore". Check it out !
And oh ya...i had a pair of those platform shoes too.. :headbanger:

Odd you should mention that song. :cheesygrinsmiley: I work in a karaoke bar, and that's a favorite.

I heard it again a couple weeks ago and it struck me ...

Hey! Brandy is gay!

Right? ... pining away for that "one man", she says. Sure. I've known people like that. She probably has a close female friend ... takes frequent vacations out of town ... good on her.

:cheesygrinsmiley: :bongrip:

Gray....did u watch the vid?

I just did - from Smurfstools. Yup, that's the song the drunks like to belt out once or twice a week.

And there is a house in New Orleans they always love to sing about, too. :slide:
