I picked up some of those great deals in the '87 crash - but quadrupling my money in 6 months was only 12 grand :rofl:

I jumped out and sold ahead of the '08 crash, but didn't jump back in to profit from the recovery.

If I were widowed instead of divorced, I'd have enough money left to retire well. Now I'm just retired.

If the pre-crash '08 boom would have lasted 4 more months, I'd have retired in '09.

Oh well - we just play the hand we are dealt. No do overs. Cheers :passitleft:
 
I had 20 years in on this last gig and only 2 years left on my mortgage. Vested in the pension and all...then they decided they didn't need me (or about 30 other long-timer management types) last year. Had to cash out my pension just to avoid homelessness. 10 years until 65 and trying to start over sucks ass...lemme tell ya.
