Hey @DreamingTrees7 ... I just got caught up in your new journal ... and you are off to a great start!

Quadlining is great idea! ... I got great results and learned a lot watching how the plants grow.

My one oversight though was in not watching the incline of the quadlines ... the 4 horizontal side branches. Unfortunately, I had one side branch pinned down, ... and as the main vertical stem grew up, the side branch started to incline down ... which resulted in slower growth; they never recovered.

I may have missed it ... but what was your yield (grams) from your last grow? Did you ever weigh the dried buds?

Have a great weekend!

I didn’t weigh it. I guess it may have been about 5 ounces total, but that’s a safe guess. It may have been more.
The autoflowers all came out smelling like hay and not very potent but the blue dream is fire. The last Autoflower that I grew the best and the blue dream which is the best of all of them both Hermies on me late in flower so I chopped them.
I think the auto was chopped too early but was producing more seeds.
I’m going to just stick with photoperiods because I have better luck.
I have a bunch of Autoflower seeds though that I don’t want. They are crop king seeds Autoflower sample pack of 10 unlabeled seeds. I have 6 or 7 left and don’t want them

Hey @DreamingTrees7 ... just a few things to consider ...

You may want to raise the light, or dial the intensity down a bit to promote healthy stretching.

When you water ... are you watering just down the stem to drive the tap root down ... and then water outwards to drive the roots horizontally?

Oh ... and when you top ... we need to wait a bit longer ... so the growth nodes are a bit more developed.

Have a nice night ...

I have been watering about once every four - five days.
I water around the stem mostly. I just picked up that piece of info about watering directly down the stem.
I think I just get photoperiods and they get me ya know? Lol
I’m being very careful with watering and I am quadlining these. Don’t forget to incline the branches or the auxins will throw everything off.

So I think I’ve had the strains backwards. I’ll wait a little longer to be sure. One of them has huge fan leaves, it’s crazy.
Quadlining is going well. The four new tops are growing out quickly, but I haven’t tied them down yet.
I watered today three days from the last watering. 1 gallon between both plants.
1 tsp grow big
1/2 tsp great white

Ya it happens. Maybe start a little earlier on the training when the branches are still pliable. If you can get them in the direction you want them to go from the beginning then the bending is easier later on. I use my thumb and index finger to gently coax them when small.
