Had a great day today, I have been feeling a bit down about the OG Kush’s that lived such a troubled life, but today I finally got around to putting it in jars and to my amazement it was just over 4oz with some stems still attached. I thought it was going to be less than two, so I’m stoked. I wish I’d been more careful with it, but thats been the story of these plants whole lives.

Maybe I will try the three GrowAnts in that little tent again after all.

Three in a tent might be a bit of overkill, but then......the stress would ramp up terpene expression.

Oh! Doob..... I just realized you're about to plant Carnival in kit soil! OMG....how did this go over my head?

Not that I have any idea when you'll be growing one, but OMG.... :slide: I concede that the terpene expressions are more refined in living organic soils, and Doc has this down. You'll quickly discover why I tried so long to make it work for me.

I can't wait to see how you set up the basement. It's bound to be much easier to control environment down there. Duggan and the guys should be able to give you some good advice on ventilation. Once you overcome that you'll be settled for a nice series of cycles.

Hey..... I looked at the pictures of the hanging Kushs and knew you were wrong in your initial estimate. Well done. :high-five: That gives a little hope to being able to make it to the next harvest, eh?

They were stressed for sure, I just think that much light requires much more attention than I can give.

I’m only growing 4 or 5 at a time in the kit I think I’m going to put all OG Kush clones in there for the first round. Since I have plenty of them ready to transplant. Then by the time they are done I should have the best clones from 10 seeds I’m planting, including Carnival ready for round two with the kit.

For sure at the start I’m sticking with the tents since I have them. But I’m thinking of framing and drywalling in a couple small rooms. Ventilation will for sure be an issue, thanks, I’ll ask them when I get closer.

It sure does. I had just about written these off but I smoked some quick dried stuff and it totally worked good. It doesn’t look so good, but I’m the only one who will ever see it and I’m very forgiving. It will at least give me more time to let my nicer stuff cure.

I moved the two Unknown OG and Patio OGs from tent 2 to tent three in prep to flower them. I also trimmed a ton of leaves off them. I’m trying something a bit different with the lights right now, I’ve got two GrowAnt GL240s on 12/12 and a Mars 300 on 24/0. I would just keep all the lights on 24/0 but with the solar panels they are free to run during the day and costly at night.

The two Nukeheads are slowly growing a bit bigger they are destined for cobs I think, the OG Kush is just starting to flower, it’s going to be in the way soon, Not sure where it’ll fit in.

I have one OG Kush and and my old Unknown OG male, I’m going to try to turn into bonsi clone factories. I’ll fire the cloner back up soon and get some more Patio and Unknown OGs and start some seeds.

I’ve finally been assimilated! I transplanted four clones to the kit, and two to hempies. One hempy is getting my usual Rx Green nutes and the other MegaCrop. The other four will be just standard Doc Bud’s High Brix Kit. They are all OG Kush clones so it’ll be great to do a taste test.

Things are growing along. Got the cloner all cleaned and ready to fire back up. I’m just going to take a couple to keep the genetics alive then try to make some mother plants.

Finally got the basement pretty much trash free. I just powered through it and now my back is super sore, not injured just sore thankfully. I don’t do much heavy lifting in my daily life these days.

In the midde of all the Perry Como, Mel Tormè, and Laurance Welk albums I found this:

These are future clone donors, if I can remember to keep them watered. The big one will get cut way back tomorrow when I get the cloner set back up, it’s the Unknown OG male I used to pollinate. I’m keeping it to do some eventual back crosses. The other is OG Kush. They are a bit droopy due to lack of attention.

These are all OG Kush, the back four are all in Doc Bud’s Kit soil, the other two are hempies I’m doing a little nutrient comparison on. My usual expensive Rx Green mix vs the super cheap MegaCrop. They both seem to be doing fine so far only been fed twice though.

The front left and back right are Unknown OG and the other two are Patio OG. Since these don’t really stretch much I’m vegging them for extra long. They also have thrips, so I’m going to wait to flower then until I’ve sprayed them away. They are my biggest hempies so far, I expect greatness.

I spy, with my little DJ eye, 12 inches of pure goodness, and I'm not talking about your plants...hahahahaha It's a vinyl obsession of mine of course. I have the one where they are smokin' a huuge doob on the car. It's so funny.

Thanks. Cheech and Chong was quite the unexpected find. I was hoping it was the one with the giant rolling paper in it but alas.

The OG Kush has become my staple. It’s just an awesome blend of flavor and stoneyness. Lol I’ve got about 4oz curing and 7 clones of it growing so I guess I’d better like it. :laugh:

Quick update, the heat has been brutal. The vegging plants are doing fine though. I think the MegaCrop is working out fine so far, I’ll wait until I flower with it before making myfinal assessment, but right now I can’t tell the difference between the Rx Green plant and the MegaCrop plant. The Doc Bud’s plants are also thriving. The tents got to 102° yesterday.

I just called a guy about building a wall or two in the basement. It should be good to go next week! I can’t wait to get the new tent and lights set up.

Had an awesome week spent mostly high on Sue’s cobs. It was a great selection and each was a very different high. Today I’m going to chew on the last of the Carnival cob only smoked joints of them so far.

@Stltoed came over yesterday, had a great visit his nugs aren’t quite dry but I left them out over night and now my whole house smells like Pink Candy guava juice. Was great being able to share with someone.

I just harvested those little Nukeheads. OMG were they infested with whiteflies. I thought I had them under control but these two plants were pretty bad. They were the last flowering plants so I’m going to spray hard this week and hopefully it’ll be the end of them. Going to do a defoil all the hempies, and probably drench the kit plants today.

My Dad said he was going to come down today and help me finish off the basement too! Should be a busy day, specially with the chewing cob buzz. It’ll try to remember to get lots of pictures.
