Yeah that safer insecticidal soap worked great, but I think I sprayed too often and was probably the cause of my male flowers. At least the worst is behind me now.

It's small though it'll take me less than an hour, not like the 15 hour days you were talking about, thankfully. I'm a bit sad about losing this Dog Butt chemovar too. I'm especially bummed since I now believe the male flowers were caused by the insecticidal soap not genetics, but it is a low yielder and I do have about 100 more seeds. I also have about 100 of a different pheno 1024 mother, so it will just be the first of many in the rotation.
I've never really had anything that smelled or tasted quite like it. It's got a great hybrid high that hits you strong right away like an indica then only slightly fades over a very long time like a sativa. The Unknown OG hits very strong and fast but then the high fades off fairly quickly. The 1024 doesn't have that instant strong high instead slowly creeping up and lasts a very long time. The Dog Butt seems like a perfect combo, except for the low yield and oddly it seems to fully mature in only 5-6 weeks, when both parents were steady 8-9 weeks.
I really can't wait to try out this Mystery Patio plant, I'm 99% sure it's got the same Unknown OG father as the Dog Butt but looks very similar to the OG Kush so I assume that's the mother, it'll be very interesting to see how it compares. It's already showing to be a better yielder and not as fast to mature.

Thanks for sharing... I gotta tell ya that is some kinda interesting strain to say the least... I am hoping to find something similar as I move forward to my more controlled Indoor grow... I am also starting to learn a little at a time from our genentics guy, and am very interested in learning better breeding habits than I have had in the past... Maybe at some point we can get together on that premise and or idea... I wonder would a noob like my BIL be able to handle that one ??/... Green days Doob... and all

I decided to hold off on harvesting the Dog Butt for a couple days, it’s still very dark green. I have some AN flawless finish and figured this was a good chance to use it. I’ve never really used it before so it’ll be interesting to see what it does. Apparently it sucks the nutes right back out of the plant or something like that, probably just another marketing gimmick I fell for but it sounded plausible.

I didn’t even harvest it yet, still waiting on the Flawless Finisher to do it’s thing. The buds do seem a little more swollen now, and there is a slight bit more amber, like 2%. I was hoping it would lighten the dark green up a bit, but nothing like that yet. Judging by the pot’s weight, it’s hardly drinking anything. I don’t have another plant ready to replace it, so it’s not causing space issues, I can wait.
The others are all doing great, although I did lose two clones. I took plenty so I don’t really care much, except I did take pride in saying I had 100% success with the cloner.
I’m really itching to drop some of these beans I’ve collected. After trying @HealthFreak ’s amazingly terptastic Schlemons I decided I need to try out Doc Bud’s High Brix kit for myself. I’m having the soil (Sunshine #4) delivered today and the worm castings on Monday. It takes about a month to cook so I’m using that as a deadline to get the basement all up and running. I plan on putting four in 10 gal fabric pots in the new 4’x4’ with the Timber light and maybe a couple GrowAnt’s. That’s the plan today, will probably change tomorrow.
I’m smoking the 1024 cob in a nice morning joint. It’s pretty strong and smooth, only halfway through and already got a good buzz with no cough. I’ll definitely make a Dog Butt cob when I harvest it, and probably a cob of every plant I harvest from now on.
Ohhh lights just turned on, that’s a better outlet for my energy than rambling on and on here.

What base soil do you use with the kit? I got Sunshine #4 as it was cheap and available with cheap delivery from Home Depot. I got everything else ready to go than realized I’d forgot the worm castings, so I can’t get to mixing it until they arrive Monday.
Yes,..wait for the EWC's. Most of us use ProMix HP with the kit but if u can't find it your choice of SS#4 is OK too.
When you add the 'amendment' to the pile make sure to mix it all very well OK. Also it takes 5 gal's of water to sufficiently moisten a full bale (3.8cu ft.). I suggest putting it in the totes in layers and watering it in as you mix it up a bit more in the totes while filling. Cheers bud!

Saturday update. Busy day emptied all my old soil pots on to a tarp and mixed in some old perlite from hempies. Basically I made a big mess, but hopefully will refill the pots tomorrow and get it cleaned up ready to do it again with the kit.

Got some good shots of the tents.
Tent 1 clones they are all starting to root. The one off to the left is an Unknown OG male.
Tent 2 the first two clones are starting to veg out, and the newer ones are right behind. The Nukeheads grew about 3 centimeters in the last week so that’s progress!
Tent 3: I think these are liking the extra lighting they are at day 15 of flowering. There is a little signs of stress but not much and I backed off the lights slightly. These also have the most wasp activity, at least I hope they are the wasps.
Tent 4: These are starting to look real nice. It’s interesting to see the genetic differences, they all have the same father but different mothers and all have very distinct characteristics. The Dog Butt is for sure a bit more swollen since I used the flawless finisher. Some sugar leaves are fully amber but the buds are still at like 3%. I’m going to check it in the morning and probably harvest. I can’t believe how early it’s done. I kind of wish I kept a clone or sixteen to so a sea of green type grow in the 32oz cups. I bet it would do great. The Unknown OG is starting to thicken and frost up nicely. The Patio OG is very very frosty I don’t know if it comes out in the photos but it’s got about 50% more trics than the Unknown OG.
