Drcannabi's - White Russian - Recycled Organic Soil - LED - Teas & Foliar

Mouse trap sounds like an excellent strain, and would be great to compare to the Exodus Kush. I think I've found a keeper strain though. I've grown 3 exodus kush all together now and they've all been straight fire.

That's a solid rec my friend! It's on my list!

A little semi update before The White S1 takes a forever nap lol! She's ready and bursting with trichs. All the colors you want to see. Mainly cloudy with a hint of clear and 5-10 percent amber. This is 9 weeks and she's leached pretty much everything she can from the fan leaves.

I Forgot to tell everyone, I used LAs back building technique at week 6. I've been doing this on all my grows.

Here's the Blueberry Headband (Brix 18) and a Trainwreck (Brix 17) that's turning purple. this is regular trainwreck and temps have been high so no idea why she's turning purple. I like it though lol!

Blueberry Headband Here's the pic I promised LA!

Hey there Doc - nice lights there buddy. Really digging that BBH - praying like there's no tomorrow! Very very healthy happy ladies you have going there. Man and that lamp, did I say nice light there buddy???? hahaha

talking about the old HID bulbs brings back fond memories. They do yield more than LED that's for sure. I think they still have their place. For home growin, LED for sure is A LOT less worry and much safer. I run a tru 1400w on my 15A circuit, I'm at the edge with wiggle room.

Can I ask for the short version on the back bud building thing you speak of from LA. I probably know it cause I usually check in on LA from time to time since he's always trying new things which is always a good thing. Living and learning... gotta love that, right. :thumb: Reps on ya LA I'm watching listening and... trying to learn. I keep stumbling around in the dirt tho.

Anyways that White S1 looks absolutely stunning, makes my mouth water looking at the pics.

Keep it green, and quit throwing buds out the window or I'll have to come over and do so yard work for ya'ins.

Looking buddilicious my friend and thanks for the back building shout out lol, I haven't even been able to do it myself lately, doing a nutrient test of Remos stuff, I thought I'd do a baseline type grow without any of my tricks mixed in and give a better general result. Its been driving me crazy not being able to mess li!e normal :)

Giving credit where credit is due my friend. Innovation and experimentation isn't something I'm good at so I'm always impressed to see new ways of doing things.

I know, it reminds me so much of your purple Chemdawg. All the HSO beans I've grown show tremendous vigor. Mine is only in a 3 gallon pot so I'm not expecting a huge yield but she is looking super happy in there.

The short version of back building is the long version too lol. Around week 6 of flower cut the very tip of all the main buds (buds at the end of each branch). I'm talking just the tiny end calyx and a couple hairs. If they're monster buds half a calyx will do lol. This drives the plant into focusing on building deeper, wider and bigger buds because it sends a message there is no more room to grow vertically. That's how I understand it.

Please correct me if I'm wrong LA.

If you've got it spend the 700 brother! This summer is going to be out of control hot.
Today is another hot one. I'll break out the 750 watt for tomorrow, it should go cold for a few days.

Cheers

Sent from my SPH-L720T using 420

No kidding, I kept the tent at 75 degrees today by unzipping the top of the tent and pointing the air conditioner at the opening. Garage got to 80 but tent stayed prefect. I'm sure I'd need to go half power if it goes up to 95-100 which I'm totally expecting this summer.

Absolutely beautiful Doc. You always seem to be so dialed in.

Are you sure you didn't mix up the blueberry headband and trainwreck. LOL!

Yes sir I'm almost all the way out fitted with window units.
I have a buddy that swears this will save me money on my monthly eclectic cost. Got one for the living room and still need one for my bedroom/ growroom. But hey the lights have not shut off prematurely in three days oh-yeah. Fingers crossed knocking on wood.
Also your ladies are banging brother yummy yummy.
hugs from the kiefers. ;)

Nice end of flowering, excellent Brix numbers. And this PT looks more like the original clone. Keep it up, buddy.

lol! I do a lot of stupid crap, but I never get my strains mixed up. I mark them from the day they go into paper towels. it's possible someone at attitude screwed it up though. I really dislike that they remove the breeders packs with every order now. Time to find a new go to seedbank that doesn't rip you on the prices!

That purple is really cool though. It's going to yield very small but the smoke is supposed to be killer.

That's awesome Dusty. Maybe it's cheaper because you can turn them off when you're not in that living area? I'd imagine 4 or 5 window shakers would use a tremendous amount of electricity if they were running 24-7. I'm glad you got it sorted out. The people need you Brother!

Thanks Conrad! I heard anything over 16 changes the terps and quality of the smoke (smoothness). I hope that's true. I was really guessing on the soil but I've been in touch and purchased all my products from the same place Doc Bud gets his. instructions are pretty fool proof. I'm sure in a year or so I'll be able to get results like the rest of you HB guys. For now it's all experimentation and learning.

The White looks world class. Great end fade creeping into buds too. That's going to be real tasty. Excellent growing dr.
:circle-of-love: :goodjob:

Thank you Brother Light! I know you're a big fan of letting them fade towards the end. There are some plants that just never fade no matter what, but these two are coaxed into fading easily. I think the low N levels mid way through really helped speed things along. The White is so covered in crystals it's unbelievable. Can't wait to get her chopped up and cured. That last round was devastatingly potent. This time I'll be able to do some smoke reports but I'm still lightweight.

Last night I took one hit of SnC (new batch) off the vaporizer and I fell asleep in my chair. Woke up at 2 am and ate everything in the house before going to bed and sleeping in till 10:00 am lol!

Today all the Venom OGs get up potted to 2 gal softies in preparation for determining sex and starting the New BudMaster journal. I'm not going to focus on high brix because I have another manufacturer sending me an automated growing system that I'll be testing at the same time. It's a 6 unit autopot XL system. It will be all organic soil with nothing but RO water. I'm stoked because if this works, I'll be able to leave for a month at a time and never have to worry about my grow. I've seen some grows with this system on YouTube and it looks very promising.

Check this out. If you ever wonder if your soil is alive, Seeing this will put your mind at ease. Second pic is a mushroom from my back yard. The squirrels have been eating it lol. It's 4 inches across at the top.

These are the Venom OG seedlings. They are root bound and starting to stress in their 2 quart pots. I hate not having enough room to properly up pot when it's needed. They've been in these pots from day 1.

Hi friends!

We've got pics for the up pot today. My calculations were exact. I ended up with no left over soil. that's the first time I wasn't short or didn't have left over. I'm pretty sure it was a lucky guess lol!

Here's my setup with the air conditioner blowing into the top of the tent. The air conditioner is a portable one with wheels. I have the exhaust running outside through a dryer vent. This doesn't allow for a charcoal filter so I have to be careful to make sure what comes out of the tent is thoroughly filtered.

The air conditioner is approx 6 feet away from the tent.

Here's the plants to be potted. These things grow straight up. I've never seen a grow pattern like this.

20160514_142321.jpg

Here's how I do my up potting. I put 2-3 inches of well packed soil in the bottom of the felt pots, add Mycos, drop the old pot into the new pot, fill in and pack the sides, remove plant from the old pot, drop plant into the new pot and give it a little water :). Are you confused, I am lol!

I know most of you guys already have this down, but I like to keep posting these for new comers. :Namaste:

Here's the kids in their new homes. 6 are in the 2x3x7 cabinet under a CLW Solar Storm 400. The other 5 are back in the tiny 2x3x3 cupboard under a Sun Blaze T5 HO 24 - 2 ft 4 Lamp light.

I'm dry trimming the SnC and LCOG so I should have final numbers in the next couple days.

:peace: and  my friends!

Love this visit. So much to see! Some fantastic nugs coming along and very pretty venom OG seedlings! Your upcanning tutorial was great. Do you score roots? I never did but since Docbud recommends it I have had good luck with it when transplanting from hard pots. Now with using softees I don't need to but I have been removing the softees. I don't like the feel of them after growing with them in soil. Too many roots to clean off.

lol!

Hahaha that's soo freaking funny there Doc - you're now on the 420 step program... only 419 more steps to go there brother. Keep it green, you'll be fine. Get a couple bags of organic popcorn... helps with the munchies lower cal. version. Definitely don't get ice cream, you have to wait to say step 410 for that! Man I know how you feel... I'm getting the munchies just thinking about it.

I actually had to stop smoking a strain I ran a few years ago cause as soon as I was done smoking I wanted to eat the house down. I was constantly running to the corner store for Cherry Garcia ice cream... I had a problem.

Hi I'm Bob, if I smoke your weed I'm going to eat the house down. :high-five:

You guys in the PAC NW - is it getting hot there? On the right coast usually it's getting into the 80s ... it's been in the 50s at night here, very unusual for this time of year. Usually I'm buttoning up and firing up the AC ... I'm still running heat in the am when I get up it's COOOOLD out. Ladies are liking it so not complaining. RH 40-50% here temps in the 60's outside grow room temps 75F just about perfect here. Yeah buddy.

Just take a light puff and pass.. you have friends! We will get you back to your normal. :bigtoke:

Reps to ya on the up pot technique, thanks for sharing. Ladies wont even skip a beat. Mighty fine.

Nice update Doc. Never thought of using the pot to create the hole the juvenile plants will be planted into. LOL! Thanks. Learnt something.

Thank you Shiggs!

I try to keep doing those just in case a newcomer happens upon my grow. I know I learned a lot from others' tutorials and still do. :)

I rarely score roots unless they're bound like these were. I did score these, but in a perfect world, I would have up potted them a couple weeks ago and there wouldn't have been a need to score them.

I use the felt -pots because my plants seem to do better in them. I knock all the soil out of them and then throw them in the clothes washer on a high soil low temp setting. No detergent. This pretty much takes care of all the roots that are clinging to the pots. If you get a chance, try it out and let me know what you think brother! :Namaste:

 Thanks Bo! I'm putting organic popcorn on my list hehehe. My fat ass ate the whole house twice last week lol! I bought a pack of those creamsicles with orange sherbet around vanilla ice cream and when I woke up this AM the whole pack was gone and the sticks were all chewed up on the floor. My little rescue and I apparently had an ice cream party last night lol. My tummy hurts so bad r8ight now and she's still sleeping lol!

Yeah, the half hit method is being employed from here an out until my tolerance gets back up there. I'm kind of enjoying being able to get loaded 10x off 1 gram though lol! :cheertwo:

Howd I miss this one!? Stellar. Loved our Trans Siberian auto that uses WR.

Solid. Peace.
Trig

Hi Triggle, welcome to my grow brother! We're in the same neck of the woods (the PNW)! I'll stop by your thread shortly. I see you over at DKs house all the time and have been meaning to check in your grow! :welcome:

Nice update Doc. Never thought of using the pot to create the hole the juvenile plants will be planted into. LOL! Thanks. Learnt something.

lol! I know brother , I learn shit every day. I learned this from my old hippie buddy. He's dead now but passed along his spirit of doing things the easiest way to my lazy ass lol! If there's a shortcut to be found, I'll find it hehehe!

Great update doc. Your a big time playa, playa :)
Love your setup broski.
Will letting them get root bound cause hermage?
Can't wait to see sum dk gear grow growin on there.

Thanks Dusty! I must be doing something right bother!

I'm not 100% certain root bound pots = hermage, but any type of stress in veg has the potential to cause herms in flower. The less stress in veg the better. Some strains love to be stressed in flower though. Causes major trich production lol!

Can't wait to see sum dk gear grow growin on there

You mean like this lol? These are 3 DK Cheese Cakes. What are these made of again brosky?

Last night I chopped The White S1. I can't explain how awesome of a plant this is. It smells so good and the frost is just incredible. I just put my last clone in the Flower tent last night. This will be my last grow with it for a while. I really just love to grow different strains and try all the variety available to us.

Here's some pics from the chop!
