no the T# stands for the size fixture the bulb fits I believe you want to get a T5 bulb with a 2700kelvin rating if I remember proper 2700k for flower and 6500k for veg. check what k rating you have now and get the other because I aint sure if I told you right:)

You told me right, they use 3000's too I guess, I'm gonna get 4 of em If I can, and replace half with the new ones, is that the proper thing to do?
 
I would think so and if you go with a DLS you should be good to go.

find you a big refrigerator box:)

but if you just had a dark area you could just move the ones you want to flower in there every night and then back out in the light so you dont have to make them all go to flower:)

The ones in veg have been on 24/7 since birth, they're all showin sex and any dls will put em in full flower anyhoo, no way to move the ones in flower, theres maybe 40 strings holding buds up, cut em loose and they just fall over.:cheertwo: I think I'll find a freezer and put myself in it so I don't bloom!...LOL, it's ok, my miscalculation on flowering time, I need to clean both lights in the next coupla days.

Really? My LA Tranny is flowering under a T5 with the stock bulbs. Maybe sHe could be doing better, but there's buds growin' in there with trichs and everythang.
 
probably true Kushie. Heck i know it is if you say so. why woudn't it be?
folks grow with flous all the time, not me so I cant tell anyone which is best or if its right:)
just know that red lights for flower and blue for veg:)

Mine are white so maybe they're a good compromise. They did real nice for vegging too. No complaints.
