Sounds like the time I got caught in Thailand during Monsoon season, or the more dangerous time tackling and arresting looters during Katrina...Just as much water!

Katrina was something else! My Wife's parents live a little north of Gulfport and I went to help them get dry again WOW!

I was coming home after a 12Hr shift in the crappy part of winter when the sun was out but the salt would build on your windshield and spray from the road and make it Impossible with out the bug juice for your wipers. Now I had $4.00 in my pocket and was out of the juice. I wanted a beer REAL BAD!!
so to the gas station I went. could hardly see the off ramp.
Right in front of the beer cooler was a pyramid of windshield washer fluid. I thought well its beer and I hope for the semi that comes by and wets my windshield just enough. but then I started being rational and went with the bug juice
filled the reservoir feeling thirsty but sure I had made the best decision. well let me tell you what happened next
I get back on the road after I cleaned my glass and thirty seconds later I couldn't see so I hit the washer wiper button and my wiper went flying into the road.

High fish cake! All this talk of epic rain has me a bit jealous. You see we had a thunderstorm roll thru yesterday- six drops of rain- lots of lightning- and two new fires from it. The least you could have done is shared some of that rain- LOL
