Anything past 50-50 to mostly cloudy is what I like. Plus how bud looks. So ended up over 70 days?

That helps me out. I'm taking her down tomorrow. I had my friend check my trichs today they were mostly cloudy with a little clear on the buds I thought were 50/50 and there were ambers on the buds directly under the light. I shake so bad that I can't hold a loupe very well and apparently I'm blind too (according to my friend) LOL! Thank God for friends... :circle-of-love:

Yes, Sunday was 77 days so I'll be chopping on day 80 of 12x12. I would say that it was probably the way you like it about 4 or 5 days ago. The amber on the top buds is very sparse and there is certainly allot more clear than amber. I think it's perfect brightlight. :volcano-smiley:

This is some stellar meds. Not sure if I lucked out or if I just never had a top notch sativa before, but I've never gone through test buds like I have with this one lol. I hope there's some left by the time it cures.

Thanks Ranger! I somehow know exactly what you mean by "sparkly". That is as good of a one word explanation add I've heard. With the MSH it actually feels like tiny bubbles exploding out of my head. A little confusing even. It's almost like what it would feel like to chug a pot of coffee (without the jitters). It's a wonderful feeling and definitely makes my mood much better. I also like super heavy Indicas. I guess I just like really potent weed :thanks::Namaste:
 
I have had some deficiency issues, but I think I can bring the babies to harvest with little damage to the buds. Thanks for asking Doc. It seems to take soooooooooo long!

lol it gets worse. This MSH was my 6th grow and it's the first time I've had the patience to let it fully mature haha. That is after the ounce plus of testers I took.

if you post a pic here of your deficiency maybe Someone can recognize it and help you with it. Wanted to let you know it's totally ok. :Namaste:

My first thought is the 501st OG. Some people say the venom may be the most potent OG on the planet. 1 hit and pass out type of potency. So maybe I'll do a coin flip.

Wow, just checked the genetics on that Lee Roy. If the triangle they refer to is the Triangle Kush aka The White, you will absolutely be in for a treat. Every cross I've seen with The White has been exceptional. That's the same generic that's in WiFi and brightlight's White Master.

yeah you have awesome genetics doc, I'm jealous. I've actually had some fantastic Ghost Train Haze before from a few places in Boulder. Its really a different flavor, crazy strong. I bet you'll love growing that one!

I have a job that I work really hard at. They pay me pretty good so I'm very fortunate that the Mrs. Is on board with obtaining genetics.

I did get the word that I have to stop now LOL. But there's always Christmas and birthdays hehehe.

I keep telling her collecting seeds takes up less space than motorcycles and costs a lot less. I think she likes to see me happy.
 
Moonshine Haze Harvest -- Quick Update

I harvested the MSH last night. I took some pics but ran out of time. I will post them tomorrow. I have Christmas family duties tonight. The Mrs said the MSH is her favorite weed ever. I'm not going there, but it is a very fine sativa. The first I've really had. Now I'm really excited to see what the Kali mist does. Old school vs New school.

I'm going to dry trim this crop because I've heard multiple sources whom I trust say it makes buds look beautiful. I just took the fans and secondaries last night.

Unfortunately there was some Bud rot on 3 of the big buds on the underside (side facing the ground). The humidity has never gone above 50 the entire grow and it was normally around 40. I tied every bud so no buds were touching each other too. The rot was the size of a nickel and went all the way to the stem. All together 3 nickel sized rot patches.

For this reason, the MSH died in a vicious attack last night. This seed is dead. I don't have any patience for bud rot. There isn't much worse than nurturing a plant for 4+ months to find out you can't even consume some of the harvest. Those colas went in the garbage. This is medical grow. I imagine if it was summertime, there would have been much more bud rot issues.

Still the non effected buds look awesome and so far the smoke is fantastic.

Absolutely GD, this grow was a huge success. I estimate at least 6 ounces of top shelf. I should be able to give my buddy 2 ounces which doesn't really help him that much but it's better than nothing.

I just didn't want to perpetuate the issues with this plant so I killed her. I was actually mad at her which I feel bad about now. :volcano-smiley:
 
OK I lied, I've got a little time so here's the pics. As mad as I was about the bud rot last night, I'm certainly not anymore. I went and looked at my buds just now and they are simply AMAZING!

Glad I got upset and killed her last night, Otherwise I might have saved her and ended up going through the whole bud rot thing again.
