@Remo Nutrients GROWN STANKBERRY FIRST TASTE! WOW!

Good day all! Rolled up a fatty yesterday and toked it through the day. Only a couple weeks from the branch and she's coming on with wonderful blueberry notes! Smooth silky smoke with a just right berry taste left in my mouth on exhale. I'll say it here that it's better tasting than my own LOS soil grown! I'm stunned and confused a little. This Remo is no BS! I love to taste my hits and this is spot on!

Thanks, I'd love to get you a cut! We'd have to meet up though I'm not mailing. Crazy I know.
We got about 10 inches of light snow and the blower took good care of it. I'm licking my wounds today. Not too bad.

Lmao not crazy at all! Mailing is frowned upon and i wouldn't be able to smoke it with you anyway and that is more than half the fun!

Getting together is more than half the fun! I miss that a lot! Maybe It's almost time to get back to sharing again among friends. We haven't for this whole time and it's wearing on us all!

Well rolled joint there SO. And you think it beats your LOS soil grown?!!! Really? Wow.

Highya SO,

We only got about 4 inches here. Still had to plow. Just smoked a bowl to ease away the muscles after shoveling, and lugging wood for 2 days instead of one, lol! But it's cozy inside! Patiently waiting for time to drop seeds.

What a joint! Nicely done, too. Glad you love BIL's Lady Stankberry. I agree, it would be fun to share our wares, in person. Happy Smokin'

That's just wrong.

Are the Remo nutes organic based? If not, to what do you attribute the better taste?
First I'm going to say my LOS soil is good. It grows healthy bud that has flavors distinctly different from each other that range from in your face bold, to hints lightly presented. It's great to have to work with. His Stankberry is as good or slightly more flavorful. Sheesh

@Remo Nutrients says it's an organic/synthetic combination. I'm a bit stunned to be honest, that a "not pure organic" product could be this tasty and grow without any issues! My BIL uses city water from the tap without any wait for the purifier to deplete as well. That's another little twist to this story. No account for chlorine or whatever they're using there, just straight in the mix and in the pots. Go figure! I'm going to say it's a grow system that has everything in it to keep a plant in perfect health during every stage of growth.
My lack of experience may have let me create a false opinion about feeding weed. I have heard from others that a plant doesn't care what form np or k comes in. I didn't believe them I guess.

This is good stuff and I'd gladly smoke from it any day!

I did a pre snow removal toke or three. Made it way fun! All of a sudden the job's done 3 hours later. Maybe someday if we're lucky we'll meet up yet. We're

in Maine sometimes. I promise to let you know if we're up your way. You too, if you slide down east. We're on the border.
That's just wrong.
Sorry
Lends credence to the science that says the plant can't tell what the source is for that ion of nutrient element. :cheesygrinsmiley:
My sediments exactly!:thumb:

Interesting. But yours is the first account I've read that suggests the chemical nutes can be on par (or better) with organic from a taste perspective. Maybe it's the combination of synthetic and natural?

Ease of use is also something to consider. For me I enjoy making all the concoctions I use, it's part of the whole gardening experience. Handcrafting something for me is more enjoyable than buying something off the shelf to use. But I can definitely see the value in a ready made solution to a great end product.

And the water issue is something lots of growers wrestle with.

I wonder how the Remo would match up against the Geoflora? I have a bag of each of their grow and bloom as a backup in case my Jadam mixes go sideways on me next season.

I find that an interesting comment. My experience is that they're just different. I'm not sure I'd necessarily say one is better than another. Fox Farms soil grows with FF nutes gives a certain taste that's awesome. FF soil with Geo nutes has a different flavor, also awesome. Maybe a bit fresher or something. Like you can taste the organic. I personally like that better. I feel it's the "truer" flavor of the weed. So from that perspective I'd say organic tastes better. I get a similar taste profile from Sohum as I do from FF/Geo, so I chalk it up to the "organic" taste. But I can see people being split if you put the two side by side for a taste test. I also load my up with molasses, and although many disagree, I will swear til the day I die that it affects the taste, chem or organic, and increases the sugary taste. I don't notice a difference in what I believe the molasses does between chem and organic. That's my two cents on it.

For me it's set it and forget it attitude. If I can get a plant to be perfectly content with what's in the soil then good. And to let them eat in their natural way. I don't know why that pleases me so much but it does.

I've used Geoflora in my LOS in small pots to finish flowering and found it perfect tasting and the plants loved it too.

You have a good and varied perspective to talk about. It's interesting to see you've combined so many things and find goodness in them in various ways. More evidence that a plant doesn't really care where it's nutes come from? Well grown is well grown maybe? With slight differences. I think I have a new perspective on this now.
