Dos-Si-Dos & Wedding Cake ala Dope Seeds

I don't know what to say wow to or congrats to first! From the harvest which we already discussed to the stankberry back to the GJOTM. Just always doing awesome things!

AWAY TEAM GETTING CLOSE UPDATE

Good day everyone, got to help tie a few heavy colas up yesterday at the BIL's Stankberry grow. They're smell is changing to a mature stink. Very rounded smelling. He's keeping them good and green over there on @nemo nutes! Frosty goodness. 2 to 3 weeks to go we think.

Hi @StoneOtter your garden looks great, and so does the harvest too. Good work. If you have any tip for my diary what to improve I will be happy to link them in the signature thanks.

I wanna recreate that scene from Breaking Bad when the white dude and the huge black dude go to Walt's storage locker to pick up his cash, and of course they can't resist laying down on the pile as it's bigger than a king sized bed. Is there a word beyond "salivating?" Man is that beautiful.

The smell in there is tremendous! The ripening smell gives you the impression you can smell the end is coming.

JARRED AND BAGGAD BUD DAY UPDATE

:ciao:
Trying to hit 62% off the stems is my goal. I almost never do it. These are there! 60% anyway, I'll take that! Burping twice a day for a couple of weeks, then once a day for a week. A 62% boveda and good to go.
Jars have cbd Cream and Cheese and the bag holds the Dos-si-do
Had some luck getting seeds. Interesting that red Sky barely made any all. The others acted as I know.
Ice storm here today. Hope you're safe and sound where you are.

I've had a few seeds arrive in winter, and they haven't had any problems germinating. Of course the temps were in the negative single digits here. That's Celsius by the way.

Seed storage is often improved by storing in a light proof jar and sticking it in the back of the fridge, which is what I do with the extra seeds I get until I'm ready to plant them.

Some folks even say to store them in the freezer, just being careful not to knock them around because they're easier to break when frozen.

So, to answer your question, a bit of cold on the way to you shouldn't have much impact. Just want to be careful not to cycle too many times between warm and cold as that can affect viability.

The seeds look good Otter , and the harvest will be nice in a few months
Someday I'll get them wet!
Hey, here's a seed question I can't find answered.
Is shipping and local handling in single digit temps harmful to the little seeds?
That's a good question that I don't know the answer to Norton. I'd guess they'd be fine since some seeds needs to live through winter to germinate in spring in some places.

There we go.

More sensible information! Thanks!

Nah not really. Cause seed is in hibernate it's only when introduced to H20 it only starts to germ. Cold weather just make it hard to germ. You can keep them in frig for like 6 months. But don't get me wrong each month loses potential to germ

I've had some in the fridge 5 years or more with no noticeable degradation in sprouting rates.
