Day 63 from seed. Day 18 of flower.
I started lowering the grow a bit and upping the bloom since their going on week 3. I also lowered the CalMag about .5ml. I'm not sure what I'm doing at this point. But it seems to be working. I haven't seen any burn or deficiencies so I'll keep with my feeding schedule which is as follows
2.5 CalMag
1.5 silica
4 micro
3 gro
5 bloom
Ph is around 5.9 and ppm is 635. Ec is at 1.24. I'm hoping to boost up the feeding in the next couple weeks. They're taking everything in stride and have some mini frost going.

Big mama gets a good defol every few days. Otherwise she would spread her wings and cover lower bud sites.

I am really really liking this strain. I can manipulate her however I want and she takes it like a champ.
One of her clones will be a mother for sure at this point. I haven't even smoked her but I know she'll be a winner.

Do you think dialing the grow down would help with the bushiness? Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. But defoliating is an every few days type of thing with these girls. I'm slowly bringing the grow down.

You can also tuck leaves behind each it is a low stress training minimal stress and helps act as a defoil almost . .

Also I would back off now if any stretching is over on them girls lower your grow base nutes . We're in flower now and we don't want those girls getting excess nitro . Those leaves are looking nice and dark .

I bumped up the bloom and lowered the grow last night so we'll hopefully see a difference in the next few days. Thanks man

Extra n in flower can make them smell more hay like too once harvested and cause buds to not swell as much.. still early so you are good. Sure thing man hope it helps!

Nice call on the nute balance and reduction in cal mag too DD ! You know your stuff wether your aware or not .

You can also try supercropping leaves lol it's been working for me, unless the leaf is just huge and crazy of course .

Thanks Big. I just figured they didn't need as much CalMag as before cause there are no deficiencies and it only has n at 2-0-0. I think I might up the silica since it has more k. Believe me, I have no idea what I'm doing atm. Soil is all I know lol.

The AK got the same torture but I might wait a couple more days than the clones to decapitate her.

Leti: short and manageable. Low maintenance just how I like em. She is a bit bushy but has the tightest node spacing compared to her sisters.

Wilma: medium height and wide. She's been the beast and is very forgiving like the whole group (thank god)

The Viparspectra is about 11" away and Annie is still praying to the sun God. The Bloomspect I have is about 14" away and Leti and Wilma love it. I'm going to lower that one a couple inches cause the stretch seems to be over. Any advice or comments are always appreciated. Happy growing!

Isn't this shit exciting? I've always loved plants but never been very successful because I've never really understood them. But i feel like my girls whisper to me. I am not perfect at responding yet but i'm learning to listen.

Thanks for that Photo. This shit IS exciting as hell right now but I know I have a long way to go still. I was the same as you when it comes to plants. I could never really grow much of anything. But I now realize they just need some love and understanding, right?

The clones will get their topping tonight or tomorrow. Probably tomorrow cause I'm lazy AF right now. The AK has another few days until I cut her head off.

They are all at 5 nodes but need to bush out more imo. Topping will allow this to happen quickly but I don't want to move too fast.

White Rhino clones day 12
I bent them over a bit so we'll see some bushy nodes in the next few days. I'm feeding them at the same rate as the AK48 seedling even though they are technically as mature as their mother. I ordered some 2 gallon fabric pots and that will be their final resting place unless I choose one as a mother.

I don't really have the space for a mother atm but who knows, I might come up with some sort of expansion to accomodate my addiction lol.

The second clone is a bit woody and stiff but she got trained anyway. I should have started lst sooner with her but she'll be topped down to her 3rd node eventually so her height can be minimized

AK48 Day 25

This girl is moving a bit slower than my previous lady. Again, I should have started training a little earlier.

She's getting there but I saw more vigorant growth when I started lst at an early stage. We'll just have to play catch up a bit but I need them to a little slower until the flower tent is vacant.

I defoliated for the last time plucking a lot of huge fan leaves and multiple bud sites that were in the dark.

Defoliating is a huge learning curve for me but I think I'm getting better at which leaf or miniscule popcorn nugs need to be plucked. Anything in the dark, get rid of it. As long as they're healthy then I have no qualms about pulling leaves that are going to eventually die anyway.
