Damn they are fine!

I know I've seen roots poking out of the fabric pots before but I haven't actually thought about what to do at that point lol

I assume it's just asking for more space but obviously that's not happening so they'll have to get used to it . nice root system by the way! Not to familiar with the term air pruning .

Looking good DD, those roots are definitely a sign of health!
 
Yea go DD! I bet that watering system will work great! I gotta come up with something like that myself!

I'm telling you man I can't keep on bending down and watering. Especially if it's going to be twice a day. I'm a little guy but my knees aren't so great and it's becoming tedious work with how low they are to the pots rims. It's a simple system but I think it will work once I get all the timing dialed in.

I ran into the same issue today when I had to water 7 gallons of nutes into my 10 gallon pots XD had to pull them all out for the first time since transplant, needless to say I decided I wouldn't be doing that much longer!

If you jump into my thread real quick on the last 2 pages TMD suggested a watering ring, I'm gunna set up a couple of those for the mean time, it's a little sliver of genious, then you could just pump straight into the watering ring or into a watering can then into the ring! Lol check it out, I think it's gunna save my ass XD
 
Well my fellow cultivators. I've confirmed the sex on all three plants and.....Their names will stay as is. I have three lovely ladies to tend too! Fuck yeah! These are fem seeds but I was a little worried. I'll be doing a short update later on. Happy growing everyone!

Congrats Doggie - It is always nice to get confirmation that they are all girls.

I was worried when I recently got some DP Auto seeds - On half of the packages the label said feminized but the others didn't. When I emailed them they confirmed they were all feminized but the labels just didn't contain the words.

Thanks man. I live my life counting on absolutes. If the documentation isn't there I'm not likely to be sold. I'd be worried too without the words being there lol.

Thank you D. It's definitely not easy with how big they're getting lol. I'll have to do a good defoliation tonight and try and make some room for budsites. A lot of love goes into this hobbie man...you know. It's been a great experience so far though.
 
Quick update. I had to defoliate some upper and lower fans on all of the ladies. There was no way any light would penetrate lower growth if I didn't and they are getting so bushy that it's almost impossible to water atm. The stretch in the last 3 days has been almost nonexistent which is a bit disappointing. They are approximately 18" away from the lights and seem to love it. Temps have been great and humidity is pretty stable around 50 on average.

I wanted these girls to stretch enough for me to keep them separated when they start budding. It's only been 3 days so I'm not trippin. Here they are top to bottom right to left: Leti,Wilma,Annie pre defol.

The Ak seedling is doing ok but her Northern lights sista still hasn't broken ground. The clone I took from Wilma seems to be doing well and I had to take another tonight. Couldn't help myself.

I couldn't get any good pics of everyone's preflowers seeing as they're tiny but I'm going to call this day 1 of flower. I'm upping their feed a bit tonight but I'm sticking with veg muted for a week or two. They're up to 700ppm which isn't very high. Should I try and push them more? They seem pretty happy but I have no idea with my limited experience in coco. Either way they look good to me and I can't wait till the real show starts.
 
They're still transitioning out of veg mode, they'll stretch don't worry! Clones look great too man!

Personally I think you can probably push them a bit more just make sure your coco stays wet enough to avoid salt build up! That's just based on my basic knowledge of coco though, you know I lack the experience .

Overall looking great man! .

Thanks Big. Currently I'm watering to keep them moist once a day and every other day I water to runoff. They're going to need a lot more soon I think. I'm trying not to treat them like they're in soil but it's tough with a fam and 9-5. C'mon automated watering! While I'm waiting to set it up I'll bubble my nutes manually. I heard you got the same thing going Big.

It's a rush and exciting at first but then....yes it turn into a chore. I won't lie, today the girls got 1 good watering and that's it. I'm gonna get my wife on board at least to water if nothing else. I just gotta keep bugging her.

Defenitly try ur best not to let any of it dry as big mentioned. Salt buildup and who knows what else that leads to but I don't care to find out and I doubt you'd like to find out too. You're doing great so keep it up

For these reasons I really would like to try spmethin different on the next run so I don't need to water twice a day or more.

Fuck I wish I could get someone to help me but with the wifey being a nonsmoker she doesn't care too much and I don't trust my kids to do too much even though they're willing. They're a bunch of clutz' like their dad
