Doctor Who's Grow

3 gal is all they could need. a 6 plant SH tank holds 6 gal.. 1gal per plant, but only when full.. so usually 0.3-1.0 gal per plant..but 3-4-5 plants is the norm.. So .5-2.0 gal per plant. I have my 12 gal res and it still gets crowdy.. I think next grow will be all homemade bucketeers

That's where I'm headed, 2 plants ach in 5 gallon buckets. 3 gallons water. I'll continue to start them in the 8 gallon res with the feeder tubes, they kick ass fast that way. But spread them out after 2 weeks I'm finding. These roots are just now staring to grow together. I've got some drain plugs ordered from SH. As soon as I get them I can get my bucket going.

yah when it comes to getting them started, you just cant beat the SH tank with the feeder tubes.

Thats awesome, you should have them in time for the next round for flowering... that way you could have 2 SH tank to get them started... wow

Wow the growth from yesterday to today just knocked my socks off with the LA women and Roadrunner! it's like someone during the night came in an replaced the 2 plants with bigger one's! I hope I'll be able to keep up with them, cool lol.

You should be getting about an inch of growth a day!

Then I guess I'm good so far Bro! the GH flora nova calculater for the 3 gal res, has a small boost in the nutes this next Res change! no burn so far either, so there's that and the roadrunner/lowryder is suppose to autoflower around 20 days! and I'm not sure about the la women flowering I think it's an autoflower also! but I'll have to to the site and check it out.

If it is a DNA LA WOMEN it should be a normal plant no auto flower.
Here is the info for DNA La Women

The LA Woman is a match of two multi-award winning strains. She is great tasting and very strong. The L.A. Woman flowers a week longer than the original L.A., but a week shorter than the Martian Mean Green, making it a well balanced cross time wise. The taste is sweet and robust with the flavor lasting well after the exhale. The L.A. Woman is quicker to veg than the Original L.A., and her yield is almost double! This cross grows like an indica with one main cola and little side branching, and will work well for sea-of-green. With her incredible smell and strength, it's hard to go wrong with this cross. People will be satisfied by the bag appeal and frostiness keeping all who try her begging for more. The LA Woman stays short, and if you feed her heavily, the buds pack on the weight early and finish in the best part of 9 weeks. Don't be afraid to thin the large fan leaves in the 5th week or so. This will allow the light to penetrate the canopy and reach the lower sites and will be replaced within a week. Look for your flavor, is it LA you're after, or Martian? Or maybe it's a little of both, you make the call with this one.

Thank you Bro, I only got one seed as a freebe I going to transfer to bubble bucket tomorrow if the root system isn't to big, should be go to go I just to get to the parts to assemble another bucket! that tomorrow since I'll be on the way back from a job site.

Thanks again bro got to say she started off with a bang LA and the lowryder where fast to sprout from seeds popped in less than 24 hrs thats fast.

VIVA LA :BH:

Changed the res today and look what I found hitting the water on the roadrunner, I see a little faster growth now, I can already see I'm going to have to play keep up here, Nice!.

I plan on let the roots get a little more larger and deeper in to the water before taking the water pump out, to many heat issues with the water leaving it in after the root get down in there good.

LA is doing great also the drip is out tomorrow unless the root system is to big! but it my not be as of yet, but yep I can see why the strain is a real winner hope to make her a mother to many clones.

Beep, beep! roadrunner is taking off!

LA is hangin in there! I myself would pull her and go into bp or dwc at this point. If you do, here's a tip, I pull the plant root/dirt ball and set in a 5 gallon bucket fill and rinse the dirt off and progress to gently rinsing under the faucet. Empty bucket outside, and repeat process, until soil is washed off. Then if roots are long enough gently thread thru pot, and gently fill with hydroton. I've done it many times.

Either way pics are looking good!

The other grow is down to 2 plants a skunk strain and white rhino, both are in flush the skunks leaves are turning pruple so after not seeing that till now I'd say she is rip for the harvest! in another week, the rhino is coming this weekend I think I have been flushing it for the last 5 days to bad their hermi's but the other rhino hermi was very much liked by my collective I belong to, they tried it and liked it eevn though it had seeds, I donated (wink wink, jab jab) it for those who are on low buget or on unemployment and can't afford to spend to much on their Meds.

Thanks Bro I will do that, I'll post pictures of the procees tomorrow an a day to day results there after! glad I don't have to use any root stimulaters.

Thanks bro.

If you have a vitamin B nutrient it wouldn't hurt. I have used Superthrive 1-2 drops (I don't get carried away with it) or Thrive Alive B1. That's when I remember and or can find it. hahaha. If you don't have it, no need to get it unless you have been wanting it.

And the other 2 plants nice. Kinda of a bummer for the hermie but fun for the people that get seed in some kind! Esp if they throw them down. It's always fun to find a bean or two in some good smoke.

Lookin good Doctor! How old are they now?

Seedlings transfered to buckets on the 24th of Jan, had seedling low nutes till 2nd set of leaves developel that was about 4 or 5 days, then nutes started at 1/4 strength on the 30th, and today res change and upped the nutes according the GH calculater for flora nove nutes

Todays change
3 gal bubble buckets
15 mls of nova grow
3 mls of flora plus
30 mls of flora blend

Whatching for any negitive results ie, nute burn to nutrient increase.
(standing by).

Hey man, your new plants are looking good! Last time I left the pump in for 4 weeks, it was a bitch cutting it out! This time the roots had hit the water in a week so I pulled the pump and they have been doing great! Check my thread to see the roots today and a week earlier. You don't need the pump at all once you have adequate roots in the water. Exactly how many roots are adequate? I'm not sure I can give a real good answer. But all of mine had at least 4 or 5 roots in and were thriving.

Hey Doc + everyone else just joined ya. Great looking babies and on a nute note. I used gh nova a couple times. Works great with the water around here after adding nutes if p.h.ed at 6.0 and held there. However no matter how much i mixed i always ended up with nute gunk at the bottom. Not all that much but it was always there, never effected anything just took a little longer to clean the res.

Hey Fryingpan i once had a 1 1/2 foot rootball eat a bubble disc once, had to wait till the end to get it back. Made me laugh cause they the more o2 the better so i guess it proved their point.
