STRAIN: DNA LA WOMEN

So far they are looking nice and healthy and will be starting them on 1/4 nutes, and not to worry friends! I do plan on picking up some clones in the next week or so, best way to insure female plants just have to find the strains I want.

Had another plant so added another bucket, but will still get the la women in a bucket.

If I had the room I would convert them to ebb & flow, still working on the new grow room in the garage.

most critical time right here with the babies... just watch that heat..

Your right there Bro! there's the swist yeah! I have been doing what I can though, but I will say I stuck my hand in one tank! and said! Dam if C5 was right! boy was the solution hot and I have to say! it never seemed to get hot in there before, I think it may be the water pump is to big for the 5 gal bucket and I will need to get one that is a bit smaller in there.

On an nother note I see you went to a 1000 watt HPS good for you Bro! you will see an increase in over all plant growth and bud production, my electrical bill was $368 bucks that's an increase of over $160 bucks' and that is running 2 400's and a 150 and all the pumps, Edison works their billing in 5 tears which increases electical cost after each tear on the bill, my wife had a cow but what ya going ta do right! I am paying for it! in oh so many great ways! if you know what I mean! Lol

Things are coming along nicely they are in there 6th day on nutes and buckets, but not seeing the expected growth, but am seeing growth I may be expecting to much! the nutes I mixed didn't cause any problems like burn, and the tank change is this weekend so I am not sure if I will increase the nutes or not as of yet, I'll post the next set of pictures soon.

So things are cruising along as far as the 2 plants in bud the last white rhino I held out a week longer just because! and the skunk is going to be mybe 2 more weeks.

The 3 plants in the bucket grow are now showing some accelerated growth, the roadrunner and LA women and Trainwreck are looking good, i put the LA women in a makeshift drip system in yellow.

So far I like the LA Women this plant is showing good prospects, but so is the trainwreck I almost let it go to long so she is recovering and showing good health now.

The White Rhino I plan to start phasing for harvest, I got clearex by botanicare to help flush, but as I found out it is also good to use in the hydro system for periodic flushing to clear out nutrient salt build up in the plants during all grow cycles, great to know this since I have never had it suggested to me by anyone here before but really never came up also! and also didn't know it can help when you have nutrient lock out to happening to the plants, and used to clean your res and pumps with also, clean res add to plain water and run the system for 15 to 60 minutes til EC or PPM stops rising, dump res and add water with nutes, humm would have been good info to know when starting out but you have to crawl before you walk.

I think keeping it simple is the best way, I look for the simple solutions after really! this is not brain sugery! not to say it isn't a bit complicated here and there! but there is no need to over think it either, I am finishing my first grow soon! and have started on the second grow already but am planning to do things a bit differently, mainly the grow systems I am working with.

Well had to get a much better PH meter, as this plants grow I want to be on top of it, as recommended I have started them out with a ph at 5.8 and will work the ph up a little as they grow and get closer to flowering and bud.

LA WOMEN

I really like the LA Women it may be one of the best strains.

hell yah man, they made it through that very critical early stage.. When they are the most vulnerable.. They look incredibly healthy too.. I cant wait to see em in 2 weeks..

I am with you bro, I am getting better results this time around, we'll see in the 2 weeks to come.

Hay C5 thanks for dropping in on my journal, thank you bro I may call on you for help here and there since it seems I don't know anyone here.

Hey Doctor, they are starting to look good there, yeah, they'll be pretty cool in a couple of weeks!

And don't hesitate to drop me a line if you need help too, I'm pretty much a newby, but I've studied a bunch and I'll def let you know if I don't know the answer. I'm not afraid to admit when I don't know something.

Keep up the good work.

And one more thing, they have opened up the voting for member of the month, go and vote. Right Now OldGrowerDude and Roseman are tied at 2 each.

Thanks both of you! very cool, let me ask! on this second grow it is going good! but I am not sure what is better to use in a the 5 gal buckets I'm using? 2 gal or 3 gals, I've been using 3 in one and 2 in the other, what is the normal amount 3?

Roseman uses 3 so that's what my plan is. I'm still using SH grow nutes, they work great! So 3 gallons is half the res size. Real simple for me.
