Doctor Trevor's Dark Angel Journal: Velma & Daphne

On Monday, 2/1/21, I turned off the veg lights in my tents. The girls are now receiving only the bloom lights for twelve hours a day. I flushed Velma with ten gallons of Sledgehammer solution.

Today, I flushed Daphne with sixteen gallons of Sledgehammer solution. The pistils are coming in nicely.

On Friday, 2/5/21, I fed Velma a nute solution, consisting of (per gallon):
1 tablespoons of Big Bloom;
2 teaspoons of Tiger Bloom;
2 tablespoons of Terpinator;
.5 teaspoons of Beastie Bloom;
some GH pH Down to bring the pH down to about 6.20.

She drank just under a gallon before the runoff began. I stopped feeding her at five quarts.

On Sun 2/7/32, I fed Daphne a nute solution, consisting of (per gallon):
1 tablespoons of Big Bloom;
2 teaspoons of Tiger Bloom;
2 tablespoons of Terpinator;
.5 teaspoons of Beastie Bloom;
some GH pH Down to bring the pH down to about 6.20.

She drank just under about five quarts before the runoff began. I stopped feeding her at six quarts.

Pistils are popping up everywhere on both plants. Sugar leaves are are beginning to grow in.

On Feb 9, 2021, I watered Velma using pH-treated water. She drank about a gallon, in her three gallon pot, before there was runoff. I gave her five quarts total.

On February 12, 2021, I watered Daphne using pH-treated water. She drank about five quarts, in her five gallon pot, before there was runoff. I gave her six quarts total.

No calcium deficiency problem, like with my past plants.

On Feb 14, I fed Velma the following nute solution, consisting of (per gallon):
1 tablespoons of Big Bloom;
2 teaspoons of Tiger Bloom;
2 tablespoons of Terpinator;
.5 teaspoons of Beastie Bloom;
some GH pH Down to bring the pH down to about 6.20.

After about 3.5 quarts, I noticed runoff. I continued until I gave her six quarts of nute solution.

I added a 1/4 teaspoon of Sensi Cal Mag Extra to the mix

as I noticed some leaf discoloration (see photos). This seems to be a regular thing with the Dark Angel strain, though it happened earlier with past plants.

On Feb 14, I fed Velma the following nute solution, consisting of (per gallon):
1 tablespoons of Big Bloom;
2 teaspoons of Tiger Bloom;
2 tablespoons of Terpinator;
.5 teaspoons of Beastie Bloom;
.25 teaspoon of Sensei Cal Mag (leaves were beginning to spot);
some GH pH Down to bring the pH down to about 6.20.

After about 5 quarts, I noticed runoff. I continued feeding until I gave her six quarts of nute solution.

I screwed up with my plant log, this week. Dates are muddled and all that. May have mixed up the plants at one point. I'm hoping to fix this, starting tonight.

Tonight I watered Velma with six quarts of pH adjusted water (pH about 6.3). Run off began after five quarts.

Tonight (2/22), I fed Velma the following nute solution, consisting of (per gallon):
1 tablespoons of Big Bloom;
2 teaspoons of Tiger Bloom;
2 tablespoons of Terpinator;
.5 teaspoons of Beastie Bloom;
.25 teaspoon of Sensei Cal Mag;
some GH pH Down to bring the pH down to about 6.20.

After about 5 quarts, I noticed runoff. I continued feeding until I gave her six quarts of nute solution.

The spotting from the calcium deficiency is no longer a problem.

I should've watered Velma last night, but I did not. I simply forgot.

I gave her six quarts of pH adjusted water. The process took over thirty minutes. Runoff began after five quarts.

I noticed that some of the tips of the palm leaves are brown (the very tips). I think this is a calcium/magnesium problem. I will look into it tomorrow.

I made gummies today (my first try). I write about them tomorrow.
