I’m a noob too, this is my first attempt at growingSubbed looking nice and healthy to me I’m still a newb tho. I’ve yet to grow autos so I’ll be looking to learn. I’ll end up popping my Mephisto autos in about a month or so.

Im sure they are gonna go mental once the 1200 vipars kick in fully. another week or so mate and they will go bezerk.
Good idea on the 1/4 strength nutes too, gentle is best.

Something to be mindful of is 'Too much light', it is definitely possible to give to much light and they will get upset as a result, I would recommend using 1 of your 1200s on veg mode at about 30 inches for all of them, otherwise just a cpl of CFL's and you cant go wrong. Do a google search for any threads regarding 'Too much light' and take a read man it'll be helpful.

I also would suggest downloading a light meter app on your phone and testing the amount of lux you are getting at the leaves, I know LUX isnt the ideal measurement but any more that 35,000 lux at that young stage and you might be doing more harm than good.

Also did some reading on smart pots and how it’s best to have airflow under them. Fortunately had this piece from an old bed frame that works perfect to lift them all up an inch and allow air flow

I also figured since my tent is 8’ long and the way I have the pots lined up, I spread the lights so it wasn’t too much on one little area

Image your tent full with sea of green canopy all with massive flower sites, that would then require the total amount of light you can give.
This generally means in the early stages they can grow from very gentle light until they are strong enough to really push them to the limit.
The app I use is called Lux Meter (light meter) by My Mobile Tools Dev. I tend to keep my lights at about 25000 lux for the first 2 weeks then I can crank it up a bit. keeping in mind im only using a single 450w for that first 2 week period.
In saying all that, they look fine mate, they are just slightly longer grow period depending on environmental conditions and genetics so dont worry too much they look fine.

So got the lux meter light app for free and when I get close to the leaves it’s only reading 500 lux
Is that normal or do I need a legit meter from amazon or something?

Is that 500 lux on a meter with a x10 scale? also your phone may not be that accurate? im using a samsung galaxy s5. also make sure your (front) screen is clear from obstruction as the light sensors are usually located on the front top

looking good i like to see where this is going. Nice setup i would love to grow in a space like that
and i belief the saturation point of light for the plants is at 1500w per square meter (this is where a grower needs to add co2 or go sealed)so i think your good. But young plants could beef up good under one light. And do you have some fan blowing on your girls ? This will make them stronger and abel to grow a little faster
