Happy Thanksgiving to you, Doc, and the Brix Nation....another year of learning, watching, sharing, talking, doing, and improving....it can't get much better than that, and I am truly thankful for all of you; I am so blessed :thanks:

Doc, is it possible to increase CEC by adding magnets with the positive sides facing the main roots? Maybe placed on the outside between the pot wall and the soil. Those little arts and crafts magnets are small, and cheap for a bunch.

try it..

also try incorporating an electrical current via battery/electrodes.. :thumb:

I just might on my next grow. Im gonna do 2 of each strain OPP and Laniakea, so I can try it on one of each. What can it hurt? Ive also thought about grounding my pots

Wrap each pot with a wire and plug it in, making them large electro-magnets.

I've thought about doing a couple things:

1. Grounding all containers to the earth via copper grounding wires
2. Raised beds with a couple large granite/quartz rocks on the bottom, oriented exactly as they were for thousands of years. IE, go on a hike, find a cool rock that appears to have been untouched by human hands (easy to find such things in CA) take careful note of compass bearings and the orientation of the rock and duplicate it in the growroom.

Next time I transplant from 2s to 10s, Im gonna line the hole with those magnets in 1 each of the two strains im gonna grow (4 plants)

I think I have mites, looks like little white dust on the leaves, cant see eggs or adults really, its not everywhere, was a few leaves in the last couple plant i didnt spread/trim out yet.

HelP!

Can i safely use pyrethreum? I have 3 cans of it ready to go, i'm on day 18 (since flip) or so.

Any other suggestions? I think Doc has a bug wash? Should I forgo the pyrethreum?

As Doc says we all have them, but I want to stay ahead of this.

In general these are some of the best looking girls I've done in the kit yet.

At the stage you are I suggest the following:

Mix up Brix or Destress at half strength. Spray the plant, top, bottom, leaf and stem with force. You want to physically knock those bastards off the plant with the foliar spray.

Spray once.....then again in 4 days....then follow up with the non-toxic bug spray of your choice that is recommended for use up to the day of harvest. Pyrethrin is one of those.

Hey Doc! I've got a problem and I'm certain it was something I did, obviously not the kit, just wanted to mention that because the pics below are not what is usually posted here in this journal.

They were transplanted on 11/19 and given straight water. The temps got low for a couple days as I was away and didn't leave the heater up high enough but that has been fixed. I was previously spraying too much Brix on, last over Brix was on 11/12 and I Brixed them much less on 11/22. They were both mixed at about 7.5ml to 8 oz of water. The only other mistake I made was I didn't properly disinfect the razor I scored the roots with. I already removed a bunch of dead or dying leaves. I hope I can save these so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Edit to add that my girls in flower are doing pretty well, they just got their 2nd cat.

Rescue drench. Keep the temps up and make sure they're not on a cold slab.....

Most of the problems this time of year are from unexpectedly cold soil. Young plants shouldn't have night temps less than 68 degrees. I like about 70 degrees for night time in veg.

If the water was cold and the temps were cold, you just shut down the workforce for a bit. Warm temps and a Rescue Drench will put them in order.

The blooming plants look great!

Thanks doc! Should i do the rescue right away? They got water 9 days ago. Still a little weight to the pots. Temp range is now 70-79. Not on a slab.

This is rescue drench right?
"1 oz. Transplant per gallon of water with 6 mils of Tea. Feed a solution with this composition to all the plants. It will re-colonize the roots and get things back on track. Do not do this if you aren't having any problems"

Plants are in#10's. Do you think 1 gallon each would be good or should in do more?

:thanks:
