Unless you're growing an OG/Chemdog strain, or a really whacked out crossed-re-crossed-crossed again, OG/Cookies/Friend's male pollen crossed with GreenCrack and backcrossed with Blackberry Sour Diesel OG strain.....there's no need for either.

If you're growing a frankenstrain----like I do from time to time----you can try mixing a handful of bloodmeal into the final bloom container and top dressing with some epsom salts. Due this at time of transplanting and maybe top dress another handful of bloodmeal and epsoms when you do the recharge.

I personally wouldn't do it unless I had experience with the strain or it's a real OG, LIke SFV OG, Larry OG, Tahoe OG, etc.

I just wanted to say WOW guys. You all are taking it to the next level. My first grow went good, but both plants turned out male. I have order some auto fem seeds and am playing the next grow soon. I would love to try growing with high brix but am worried I am still a little new. What I lack in experience I make up for with ability to learn fast. Do you guys think I could pull it off or do need more experience. You all seem like you've been doing this awhile. And DOC, keep up the good work. You seem to have contributed knowledge to many, many people.

Hey BB, look at that, ya know, your not supposed to "Turtle Wax" the leaves bud!
One thing though BB, she has a very early sign of Mg. shortage...it's a little too early to see it so pronounced . You might wanna get a handle on it now for a stronger finish . We like to see a slight shortage of it but it's just a bit to much too soon OK. If she were mine i would top dress the soil with a few Tbspns. of Epson Salts right before her next drink. just my 2 BB...cheers , she looks yummy!

Right on man. This cut for some reason has those really thick waxy looking leaves. I top dressed Epsom salt last watering. She does have a different smell to her in the kit.

Yup, this is my mother plant. I was a bit hasty with it. My room was very warm so I figured what the heck. My other clones are ready for transplant. This plants flowers very fast. What you see there is only less than 2 weeks into flower.

I've had great success with rooting clones with an aero cloner (homemade). With temps close to 80*f I get roots in 7-15 days depending on variety and location of cutting. I take cuttings from lower area of mother.

A heat mat under the cloning tray, and 1/2 strength DeStress sprayings every other day. Some just take a very long time.

Yes, the curling "up" of the leaf edges , or margins is an early sign of Mg shortage. Cheers eh!
