Yep. I just wanted to make sure everyone understood the way you do it.

I've been using the 2" rockwool cubes lately and letting em get really full of roots. At that point the solo cup step is eliminated as this cube takes up about 3/4 of a solo. I go directly into the 6-7" white square pots that doc uses (about 1gal), its going great. Eliminating a step feels so good bruhs.
Took the blood meal plunge today, gave all my girls 100ml of epsom and 3 of em (sour tangies) 100ml of bloodmeal (i'm in #15s) (100ml is just under 7tblsp). Scairt, excited, worried, drooling.....all systems are firing very well right now....but were starting to fade on week 3 (the tangies always fade hard and I've never solved it, gonna put the bloodmeal into the dirt next time on final repot....
The clear+red/colored solo works well. Just don't do what I did firs time and get cups with different bottom shapes. I had to go back and get another package as my red solos had squarish bottoms and the clears had round...duh.
if u do go the double solo route, make sure to be smart about drainage, u can drown em this way by simply misaligning drain holes.
Thx for that lil pointer BrixKlinger.if u do go the double solo route, make sure to be smart about drainage, u can drown em this way by simply misaligning drain holes.
Doc, does the bloodmeal ruin our soil for consecutive runs?
I'm in line for Q&A after Cannatard!
Doc, is there any negative effect with using de-stress consistently for a whole grow, or is that just un-necessary waste?
No. The beauty of bloodmeal is that it leeches out very fast and is mostly NH3 nitrogen. Not a problem!
My turn. It's been close to a month since I mixed up my soil but temps were in the range of 70-85, should I let it cook for longer and if so, how long. I'm not really in a rush but I do have some plants in veg now which brings me to my next question, I have 4 clones that were transplanted into 1 gallon pots a little over a week ago, they're in organic soil and have only been given water and I also have 4 plants, 3 from seed and one clone that are in #3's but have been getting nutrients, is it safe to assume I should use the 4 clones in #1's?
Thanks!
Thanks Doc! So no problem that I gave them nutes? Bring on the High Brix!
Thanks again Doc! I asked in my journal but will also ask here, The clones in #1's have been in them for 9 days and the bigger plants have been in #3's for 17 days, approximately when will each be ready to go into #10's? I think I am supposed to build up the roots before transplanting them.....
Your soil is ready. High Brix from here on out. 1's, 3's....who cares? Get 'em in good soil.
